IN pursuance of the provisions of section 30 (3) of the Mining Amendment Act, 1914, notice is hereby given that, unless cause to the contrary is shown within three months from the date hereof, each of the privileges mentioned in the Schedule hereto will be struck off the Registers.

The number of births registered in 1922 is the second highest ever recorded in the Dominion; but the birth-rate is extremely low, and in fact is, with one exception (1919), the lowest ever experienced. The death-rate for the year is also extremely low, and approximates closely that of 1921, which is the lowest on record.
