A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Haurangi Survey District described in the First Schedule hereto; and also do hereby proclaim as closed the road described in the Second Schedule hereto.


FIRST SCHEDULE.

LAND PROCLAIMED AS A ROAD.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 3 roods 4 perches.

Portion of Sections 23 and 74; coloured red.


SECOND SCHEDULE.

ROAD CLOSED.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of road closed: 1 acre 1 rood 2 perches.

Adjoining or passing through Sections 23 and 74; coloured green.

All situated in Block II, Haurangi Survey District (Turanganui R.D.). (S.O. 1610.)

All in the Wellington Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 55731, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Land taken for Street Purposes in the City of Wellington.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street purposes, and shall vest in the Mayor, Councillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fourteenth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-three.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 0 roods 23·7 perches.

Portion of Section 6, Harbour District and closed road, Block XI, Belmont Survey District (Harbour R.D.). (S.O. 1725.)

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 56127, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 20th day of January, 1923.

Proclaiming Native Land to have become Crown Land.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, it is provided, inter alia, that on being satisfied that the purchase of any Native land has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, the Governor-General may issue a Proclamation that such land has become Crown land:

And whereas the purchase of the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has been duly completed by or on behalf of the Crown under the authority of the Native Land Act, 1909, and its amendments:

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority so conferred upon me by section fourteen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1914, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim that the Native land set out in the Schedule hereto has become Crown land.


SCHEDULE.

HOEOTAINUI North 5B No. 2 Block, Hapuakohe Survey District: Approximate area, 271 acres.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of January, 1923.
