WANGANUI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Wanganui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £5,400, authorized to be raised by the Wanganui Borough Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and the Local Bodies’ Loans Amendment Act, 1922, being the cost of raising the Wanganui Borough Council Antecedent Liability Repayment Loan of £122,500, such loan having been raised pursuant to and in terms of section 6 of the Local Bodies’ Finance Act, 1921-22, and out of New Zealand, the said Wanganui Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one halfpenny (½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Wanganui, comprising the whole of the Borough of Wanganui the boundaries whereof are defined in the New Zealand Gazette of the 19th day of December, 1912, Number 92, at page 3618.
And that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of May and the first day of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twelve years from the first day of November, 1922, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MILTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Milton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £3,500, authorized to be raised by the Milton Borough Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of completing the construction of waterworks for the supply of pure water for the use of the inhabitants of the said Borough of Milton, the said Milton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of fourpence and one farthing (4¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough of Milton, comprising the whole of the said borough; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING SPECIAL RATE.—LOAN OF £400, MANAWATU GORGE ROAD.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £400, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of providing the Council’s contribution to the Manawatu Gorge Board of Control towards the special work of widening the Manawatu Gorge Road, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twelve-hundredth of a penny (1/1200d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property within the County of Rangitikei, exclusive of the Town District of Lethbridge; and
that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half or until the loan is fully paid off.

FEILDING BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of interest and sinking fund and also the other charges on a loan of £9,545 (nine thousand five hundred and forty-five pounds), authorized to be raised by the Feilding Borough Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of repaying the Council’s antecedent liability as defined by the Local Bodies’ Finance Act, 1921-22, the said Feilding Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of nine-sixteenths of a penny (9/16d.) in the pound on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Feilding; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of twenty (20) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING AND LEVYING A SPECIAL RATE
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Mount Roskill Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £4,000 (four thousand pounds), authorized to be raised by the Mount Roskill Road Board, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of water reticulation, the said Mount Roskill Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of 7/8ths (seven-eighths) of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the No. 2 (specially defined) water area, comprising part 47 and 87A, and Sections 115 to 125 inclusive, of Block 10 within the Mount Roskill Road District; and that such rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the 15th day of March and the 15th day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ (thirty-six and a half) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that a general meeting of members of Miller Brothers (Limited), in Liquidation, will be held at the office of the Liquidator, 15 Bond Street, Dunedin, on Wednesday, the sixth day of December, 1922, at 4 p.m., for the purpose of laying an account before such meeting showing the manner in which the winding-up of the company has been conducted and the assets disposed of.
