TAMAKI WEST ROAD BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Tamaki West Road Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £3,000, authorized to be raised by the Tamaki West Road Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the following objects,—
Purchasing and laying mains and other and contingencies and engineering charges in connection with extending the water-supply service .. £ 2,000
Erecting and completing additions to the present public office of the Board .. 400
Erecting and completing a caretaker’s residence on the recreation reserve at St. Heliers Bay .. 600
£3,000
the said Tamaki West Road Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-ninth of a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Tamaki West Road District; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable annually on the first day of April in each year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

PAHIATUA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION STRIKING SPECIAL RATE.—ANTECEDENT LIABILITY LOAN, £3,100.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Pahiatua County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest and other charges on the Pahiatua County Council Antecedent Liability Loan of £3,100, 1922, authorized to be raised by the Council, under section 6, subsection (1), of the Local Bodies’ Finance Act, 1921–22, and by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the said Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one twenty-eighth of a penny (1/28d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the County of Pahiatua; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the first day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of three years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WANGANUI BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Wanganui Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest, sinking fund, and other charges on a loan of £1,600, authorized to be raised by the Wanganui Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the following purposes, namely—
- Providing drainage in extension of existing drainage in the Borough of Wanganui, and providing new sewers, replacing old sewers, extending existing sewers, providing street sumps and drainage-pipes, and laying drainage-pipes in the streets of the borough, and all appliances, plant, and things necessary or convenient therefor:
- Providing and laying water-mains in the streets of the said borough, and extending and replacing existing water-mains in the said streets, and providing all machinery, appliances, plant, apparatus, appurtenances, and things necessary or convenient therefor in connection with the present “waterworks” (as defined in section 299 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908) of the borough, and extending, enlarging, and augmenting the waterworks or water service in the said borough:
such loan being supplementary to a loan of twenty-five thousand pounds raised by the Council in the year 1916 for, inter alia, the same purposes, and which loan or the portions thereof allocated to the aforementioned purposes proved insufficient to complete the same, the Wanganui Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound upon the rateable value (on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of the Borough of Wanganui, the boundaries whereof are defined in the New Zealand Gazette of the 19th day of December, 1912, No. 92, at page 3618. And that such rate shall be an annually recurring special rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable half-yearly on the first day of May and the first day of November in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of fourteen years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

FRIENDLY SOCIETIES ACT, 1909.—ADVERTISEMENT OF DISSOLUTION BY INSTRUMENT.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Loyal Bunnythorpe Lodge, No. 7922, branch of the Wanganui District of the New Zealand Branch of the Manchester Unity Independent Order of Odd Fellows Friendly Society, Register No. 312(10)/7, held at Bunnythorpe, is dissolved by instrument registered at this office the 25th day of October, 1922, unless within three months from the date of the Gazette in which this advertisement appears proceedings be commenced by a member or other person interested in or having a claim on the funds of the branch to set aside such dissolution, and the same be set aside accordingly.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
THE Partnership heretofore carried on at 215 Victoria Avenue, Wanganui, by the undersigned under the name of “The Sna-Kell Fur Company.” has been dissolved as from the 19th day of October, 1922.

RESOLUTION.
THE following regulations were laid before the members of the Woodville District Jockey Club at a meeting held on the 12th day of October, 1922, at Woodville, with a recommendation by the President of such club, Mr. Samuel Bolton, that the same be passed at once with a view to their approval by His Excellency the Governor-General, in pursuance of the Gaming Act, 1908, section 33.
Mr. George Peebles moved, and Mr. Robert Bly seconded, and it was resolved, that such regulations should be adopted, and that the Chairman and Secretary be authorized to sign the same in authentication thereof.
The following are the regulations referred to:—
WOODVILLE DISTRICT JOCKEY CLUB
(INCORPORATED).
REGULATIONS.
(Under the Gaming Act, 1908.)
In pursuance and exercise of the powers in that behalf contained in section 33 of the Gaming Act, 1908, and of all other powers and authorities it enabling in that behalf, the Woodville District Jockey Club, a racing club within the meaning of the said Act (hereinafter referred to as “the said club”), doth hereby revoke the regulations dated the 3rd day of February, 1919, and in lieu thereof doth hereby make the following regulations controlling the admission of persons to that part of Lots 1 and 2, D.P. 1716, part Sections 8 and 9, and also part Section 9, Woodville Special Settlement; situated in the district of Woodville, and known as the Woodville Racecourse, while the said racecourse is used or occupied by the said club for race meetings.
- These regulations shall come into force on the date of the same being published in the New Zealand Gazette.
