Where any item bears after it the letters n.e.i., these letters shall be interpreted in the same sense as when applied to the Tariff items from which the items of this Schedule are derived. (2.) Goods entering Australia from New Zealand at present fall under the General Tariff, and goods entering New Zealand from Australia are treated in the same manner.
