Tenders for Inland Mail-services for 1923-24.
General Post Office,
Wellington, 20th July, 1922.
SEALED tenders will be received at the several Chief Post-offices in the Dominion until noon on Monday, the 11th September, 1922, for the conveyance of mails between the undermentioned places, for a period of TWO YEARS from the 1st January, 1923 :—
POSTAL DISTRICT OF AUCKLAND.
- (a.) Albany and Redvale, twice weekly in summer; weekly in winter.
(b.) Dairy Flat, Silverdale, and Redvale, weekly in winter. - Coromandel and Whitianga, weekly. (Alternative to No. 3.)
- Coromandel and Whitianga (to include the carriage of parcels), weekly. (Alternative to No. 2.)
- Fairburn’s Junction Box, Pamapuria, Takahue, and Victoria Valley, thrice weekly.
- Glen Eden and Karekare, twice weekly in summer; weekly in winter.
6. Huarau Railway-station, Paparoa, Matakohc, and Ruawai, thrice weekly, with extra trip Huarau Railway-station to Paparoa (one way only) Saturdays.
7.$|| Kaikohe, Ngawha, Ohacawai, Te Ahuahu, Okaihau, Marangai, Utakura, Maraeroa, and Horeke, thrice weekly. (Alternative to No. 23.) - (a.) Kaikohe and Tautoro, twice weekly.
(b.) Tautoro and Awarua (part rural delivery along Mangakahia and Otaienga Roads), weekly. - Kaipara Flats, Streamlands, and Warkworth, four times weekly.
- (a.) Kohukohu and Broadwood (part rural delivery), thrice weekly.
(b.) Broadwood, Okioi, and Herekino (part rural delivery), twice weekly. - Mangatangi and Kaiaua, weekly. (Alternative to Nos. 13 and 14.)
- Mangatawhiri and Mangatangi, weekly. (Alternative to Nos. 13 and 14.)
- Mangatawhiri, Mangatangi, and Kaiaua, weekly. (Alternative to Nos. 11, 12, and 14.)
- (a.) Mangatawhiri and Mangatangi, twice weekly.
(b.) Mangatangi and Kaiaua, weekly. (Alternative to Nos. 11, 12, and 13.) - Mangatawhiri and Maramarua, thrice weekly.
- Marsden Point, Ruakaka, and Waipu, six times weekly.
- (a.) Matakohc and Hukatere (rural delivery), thrice weekly.
(b.) Hukatere and Tinopai, weekly. - Maungaturoto Railway-station, Post-office, and Rowsell’s, six times weekly (with extra trip to Maungaturoto Post-office one way).
19.* Maungaturoto and Wairere, twice weekly. (Alternative to No. 28.) - Motukaraka Wharf and Post-office, as required. (Alternative to No. 35.)
21.$|| Ohacawai and Pakaraka, thrice weekly. (Alternative to Nos. 22 and 23.)
22. Otiria and Pakaraka, thrice weekly. (Alternative to Nos. 21 and 23.)

26.* Paparoa and Mareretu, twice weekly. - Paparoa and Pahi, thrice weekly.
- Paparoa Railway-station and Wairere, twice weekly. (Alternative to No. 19.)
- Patumahoe Railway-station and Post-office, twice daily.
- Patumahoe and Waiau Pa, thrice weekly. (Alternative to Nos. 31, 36, and 37.)
- Patumahoe and Waiau Pa, daily. (Alternative to Nos. 30, 36, and 37.)
- Pokeno, Pokeno Valley, Mangatawhiri Valley, and Mangatawhiri, daily. (Alternative to No. 33.)

- Ranganui Railway-station and Batley, weekly.
