Land proclaimed as a Road in Block III, Mahanga Survey District, Wairoa County.

A PROCLAMATION

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Mahanga Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

• APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of land proclaimed as a road:—
A. R. P. Portion of
0 0 18 Crown land; coloured yellow.
0 0 6 School-site, Section 19; coloured neutral.

Situated in Block III, Mahanga Survey District (Hawke’s Bay R.D.). (S.O. 650, green.)

In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 53829, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 26th day of July, 1922.

Notice of Change of the Purpose of a Reserve in the Town of Hawera, Taranaki Land District.

JELLICOE, Governor-General.

WHEREAS by section six of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), the Governor-General is empowered, in the case of any public reserve vested in His Majesty or the Governor-General for any of the purposes comprised in Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, to change the purpose for which such reserve was set apart to any other purpose:

And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto is a reserve duly set apart for the use of the Justice Department, being a purpose within Class II of the Second Schedule to the said Act, and it is expedient to change, as hereinafter provided, the purpose of such reserve so set apart:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, in pursuance of the powers conferred on me by section six of the said Act as aforesaid, declare that the reserve described in the Schedule hereto is hereby changed from a reserve for the use of the Justice Department to a site for a drill-shed. And I do hereby further declare that this notice is issued subject to the provisions of section seven of the said Act, and shall take effect according to the provisions of that section.

SCHEDULE.

TARANAKI LAND DISTRICT.

Lots 29 and 30 of Section 18, Town of Hawera: Area, 1 rood 39 perches.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 6th day of July, 1922.

Notifying Lands in Nelson Land District for Sale by Public Auction.

IN pursuance of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section one hundred and twenty-six of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint Friday, the eighth day of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, as the time at which the lands described in the Schedule hereto shall be sold by public auction; and I do hereby fix the prices at which the said lands shall be sold as those mentioned in the said Schedule hereto.
