Land proclaimed as a Road in Maketu Survey District, Auckland Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Maketu Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 1 acre 1 rood 28 perches.
Portion of Section 8, Block V, Maketu Survey District.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/70, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 1962, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of June, 1922.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim as a road the land in Kaeo Survey District described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 2 roods 35 perches.
Portion of Section 35, Block XII, Kaeo Survey District.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked L. and S. 16/913, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, under No. 1969, and thereon coloured blue.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of June, 1922.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby alter the proposed boundaries of the district as described in the First Schedule hereto, and proclaim the district with the altered boundaries as described in the Second Schedule hereto to be an electric-power district, and I hereby assign to such district the name of "the Hutt Valley Electric-power District."

FIRST SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District comprisingโ€”
(a.) The Horokiwi, Epuni, Mungaroa, and Wainui-o-mata Ridings of the Hutt County as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the year 1899 on pages 1895 and 1896 thereof.
(b.) The Lower Hutt Borough as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the year 1891 on page 131 thereof.
(c.) The Petone Borough as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 1910 on page 775 thereof.
(d.) The Eastbourne Borough as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the year 1906 on page 1281 thereof.
(e.) The Upper Hutt Town District as described in the New Zealand Gazette of the year 1916 on page 3617 thereof.

As the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 54634, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, and thereon edged in blue.

SECOND SCHEDULE.

HUTT VALLEY ELECTRIC-POWER DISTRICT.

ALL that area in the Wellington Land District, being the boroughs of Lower Hutt, Petone, and Eastbourne, the Town District of Upper Hutt, and part of the Hutt County, commencing at the south-western corner of Section 55, Block III, Paekakariki Survey District; thence by the southern boundary of the said Section 55 and Sections 54 and 50, the southern boundary of the last-mentioned section produced to the eastern boundary of forest reserve, Block IV, Paekakariki Survey District; thence by the south-western, southern, and eastern boundaries of the said forest reserve to the north-eastern corner of Section 1, Block V, Akatarawa Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of the said Section 1 to the road forming the western boundary of Section 1, Block VI, Akatarawa Survey District; along that road to the north-western corner of Section 5, Block II, Akatarawa Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of that section to its north-eastern corner; thence along the western boundary of Section 406 to its north-western corner; thence along the northern boundary of the said Section 406 to and across the Akatarawa-Waikanae Road, the northern boundary of Section 407 to its north-eastern corner; thence along the eastern boundaries of Sections 407, 404, and 403 to the north-western corner of Section 5, Block III, Akatarawa Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of Section 5 to the road forming its eastern boundary; thence along that road to the north-eastern corner of Section 2, Block VII, Akatarawa Survey District; thence along the northern boundary of Section 2 to the road forming the southern boundary of Section 12, Block III, Akatarawa Survey District; thence along that road to the south-eastern corner of Section 12; thence along the eastern boundary of Sections 12, 11, and 10 to the north-eastern boundary of the last-mentioned section; thence by a right line to Mount Hector; thence along the range forming the western boundary of Featherston County as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 1911, page 1753, to Turakirae Head; thence by the sea-coast to the south-western corner of the Borough of Petone; thence in a northerly direction by the Makara County boundary, as described in the New Zealand Gazette of 1921, page 1597, to the sea; thence along the western boundary of Section 98, Block VIII, Paekakariki Survey District, to the railway bridge; thence across that bridge to the southern boundary of Section 81 in the said Block VIII; thence by the sea-coast to the point of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 5th day of July, 1922.

SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 12.9 perches.
Portion of Section N.W. 79, Parish of Maungataniwha, Block XII, Takahue Survey District (Auckland R.D.). (S.O. 21761.)

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 54576, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged red.
