a north-easterly direction generally to the middle of the stream forming the north-eastern boundary of Ohotu No. 6A No. 1 Block; thence down the middle of that stream and up the middle of the Wangaehu River to the northern boundary of Block IV, Ngamatea Survey District; thence easterly along that boundary and the northern boundaries of Blocks I and II, Maungakaretu Survey District, to the middle of the Turakina River, and up that river to the northern boundary of the Raketapauma No. 3A Block; thence easterly along the northern boundaries of the Raketapauma Nos. 3A, 1A, 1C, and 1I Blocks to the middle of the Waiouru-Moawhango Road; thence northerly along that road to its junction with the Tokaanu Road at Waiouru; thence north-easterly along a right line to Totem Trig. Station and a right line to Auahitotara Trig. Station; thence southerly along a right line to Trig. Station 16 and a right line to Trig. Station 32; thence westerly along a right line to the junction of the Panemango and the Tomakomako Streams; thence up the middle of the Panemango Stream to and along the southern boundary of Ruanui No. 2 Block; thence along the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block X, Maungakaretu Survey District, to the middle of the Turakina River; thence along a right line to the Maungakaretu Trig. Station on the summit of the eastern watershed of the Wangaehu River; thence in a south-westerly direction generally by lines from hill to hill along the summit of that watershed to and along a right line which runs in a north-westerly direction through trig. station on Okaipe (Block XIV, Mangawhero Survey District) to a point in the middle of the Wangaehu River due west about eighteen chains from the western boundary of Block XIV, Mangawhero Survey District; thence down the middle of the said river to the sea; thence in a north-westerly direction along the sea-coast to the point of commencement, from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two (both days inclusive). And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such imported game and native game within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each; and the Chief Postmaster, Wanganui, and the Postmasters at Fordell and Mangamahu, are hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.
And I do hereby restrict the number of such imported game and native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day to not more than twenty-five head in all of grey duck, spoonbill duck, black teal, and black swan.
Nothing in any license to take or kill imported game and native game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported game and native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.

Shooting Season for Imported Game and Native Game, License Fee, &c., Wellington Acclimatization District.
IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I William Downie Stewart, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the following imported game and native game—viz., hares, cock pheasants, Australian quail, Californian quail, mallard duck, black teal, grey duck, shoveller, and black swan—may be taken or killed within the Wellington Acclimatization District, comprising all that area in the Wellington Land District bounded by a line commencing at the mouth of the Wangaehu River, and proceeding thence up the middle of that river to a point due west about 18 chains from the western boundary of Block XIV, Mangawhero Survey District; thence along a right line through Okaipe Trig. Station to the summit of the eastern watershed of the Wangaehu River; thence north-westerly by lines from hill to hill along that summit to the Maungakaretu Trig. Station; thence south-easterly along a right line to a point in the middle of the Turakina River in line with the south-western boundary of Section 1, Block X, Maungakaretu Survey District; thence along that boundary, the southern boundary of the Ruanui No. 2 Block, and down the centre of the Panemango Stream to its confluence with the Tomakomako Stream; thence easterly along a right line to Trig. Station 32; thence northerly along a right line to Trig. Station 16, a right line to Trig. Station 17 (Auahitotara), a right line to Trig. Station 24 (Te Rotete), and a right line to Trig. Station 28 (Manukaiapu); thence easterly along a right line to Trig. Station 27 and a right line in the direction of Trig. Station 26 (Tawaki Tohunga) to its intersection with the middle of the Rangitikei River; thence down the middle of that river to its intersection with a right line between Trig. Stations 32 and 30 (Aorangi), and easterly along the said right line to Trig. Station 30; thence along a right line in the direction of the confluence of the northern branch of the Waipawa River with the Makaroro River to the summit of the Ruahine Range; thence southerly along the summit of the said range to the source of the Pourangaki Stream, and down that stream to its confluence with the Kawhatau Stream, down the middle of the said Kawhatau Stream to its confluence with the Rangitikei River; thence down the middle of the Rangitikei River to the Awahuri-Bull’s Road, and easterly along that road to the Oroua River; thence up the middle of the Oroua River to the Wellington–New Plymouth Railway line; thence south-easterly along said railway-line and Stony Creek Road to the Palmerston-Ashhurst Road; thence north-easterly along that road to the northernmost corner of Section 454, Block VIII, Kairanga Survey District; thence south-easterly along the Raukawa Road fronting Sections 454 and 455 of the said block to the centre of the Manawatu River; thence up the middle of that river to and along the northern boundary of the Wellington Land District to the mouth of the Waimata River; thence southerly along the sea-coast to Cape Palliser, westerly generally along the sea-coast to Cape Terawhiti, and northerly along the sea-coast to the mouth of the Wangaehu River, the point of commencement: including all adjacent islands except Kapiti, from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two (both days inclusive).
And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such imported game and native game within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of twenty shillings each; and the secretary of the said Wellington Acclimatization Society or any person authorized by such secretary in that behalf, is hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.
And I do hereby restrict the number of such imported game and native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day to not more than twenty head in all of black teal, grey duck, shoveller, and black swan.
Nothing in this warrant shall apply to hares in the County of Akitio, in which these animals are not protected.
Nothing in any license to take or kill imported game and native game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill imported game and native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection and Game Act, 1921–22, I, William Downie Stewart, Minister of Internal Affairs of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify that the following native game—viz., grey duck and black swan—may be taken or killed within the Westland Acclimatization District, comprising the County of Westland, from the first day of May, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, to the thirty-first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, both days inclusive.
And I do further notify that licenses to take or kill such native game within the said district will be issued to any person on payment of the sum of ten shillings (10s.) each; and the Chief Postmaster at Hokitika, and the Postmasters at Kumara, Ross, and Okarito, are hereby authorized to sign and issue the said licenses.
And I do hereby restrict the number of such native game that may be taken or killed by any one person in any one day to not more than five head in all.
Nothing in any license to take or kill native game shall authorize the holder thereof to take or kill native game on lands actually and exclusively used by any registered acclimatization society for acclimatization purposes, or on any sanctuary or public domain.
