Notice fixing the Closing-hours of all Shops in the Raurimu Riding of the Kaitieke County, under the Shops and Offices Act.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the shops within the Raurimu Riding of the Kaitieke County has been forwarded to me, desiring that all shops in the riding be closed in the evening of working-days as follows: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday at 6.30 p.m., Saturdays at 9 p.m.:
And whereas I, George James Anderson, Minister of Labour, am satisfied that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the shops in the Raurimu Riding of the Kaitieke County:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 25 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, I do hereby direct that on and after the 9th day of March, 1922, all shops in the Raurimu Riding of the Kaitieke County shall be closed accordingly.

Notice fixing the Closing-hours of all Chemists' Shops in the Borough of Te Aroha, under the Shops and Offices Act, 1908.
WHEREAS a requisition in writing, signed by a majority of the occupiers of all the chemists' shops in the Borough of Te Aroha has been forwarded to me, desiring that all such shops in the borough be closed in the evening of working-days as follows: On Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays at 8 p.m., and on Fridays at 9 p.m.:
And whereas I, George James Anderson, Minister of Labour, am satisfied that the signatures to such requisition represent a majority of the occupiers of all the chemists' shops within the Borough of Te Aroha:
Now, therefore, in pursuance of section 25 of the Shops and Offices Act, 1908, I do hereby direct that on and after the 9th day of March, 1922, all the chemists' shops within the Borough of Te Aroha shall be closed accordingly.
The notice published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 15th June, 1905, fixing the closing-hours of shops in the Borough of Te Aroha is hereby superseded, in so far as it relates to the shops affected by this notice, as from the date of the coming into operation of this notice.

"GUMTOWN" AND "CABBAGE BAY."-CHANGE OF NAME.

NOTICE is hereby given, by Proclamations given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, and issued under the Seal of the Dominion at Government House, Wellington, on the fifth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, and on the nineteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, the name of the locality known as "Gumtown," in the County of Coromandel, was altered to "Coroglen," and the name of the locality known as "Cabbage Bay," and the bay adjacent thereto also known as "Cabbage Bay," in the County of Coromandel, was altered to "Colville" and "Colville Bay" respectively.
The Proclamation in the case of "Gumtown" taking effect as from the first day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two, and in the case of "Cabbage Bay" taking effect as from the first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-two

The Arms Act, 1920.-Appointment of Authorized Officer.

PURSUANT to the regulations under the Arms Act, 1920, I, Arthur Hobbins Wright, the Commissioner of Police, do hereby appoint the senior member of the Force for the time being in charge of Tuatapere Police-station to be an authorized officer for the purposes of the said Act.
