Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Borough of Riccarton.

IT is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under section 133 of the Municipal Corporations Act, 1920, praying that the area described in the Schedule hereto, being now part of the County of Waimairi, may be excluded from the said county and included in the Borough of Riccarton. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed inclusion which they desire to lodge, within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

SCHEDULE.

AREA TO BE INCLUDED IN BOROUGH OF RIC CARTON.

ALL that area in the Canterbury Land District bounded by a line commencing at a point in the middle of Straven Street where it is intersected by the most southerly branch of the River Avon in Rural Section 163, thence up the middle of the said branch of the River Avon to the middle of Clyde Road, southerly along the middle of that road, westerly along the middle of Riccarton Road, southerly along the middle of Blenheim Road, northerly along the middle of Cutler’s Road, easterly along the middle of Riccarton Road, and northerly along the middle of Straven Street to the point of commencement.

Proclamation of Road, Aitutaki, Cook Islands.

WHEREAS by section 607 of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, it is provided that the Minister for the Cook Islands may by Warrant proclaim any Crown, European, or Native land as a road:

Now, therefore, I, Maui Pomare, Minister for the Cook Islands, do hereby, in pursuance of the authority so conferred on me, proclaim as a road the land described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

ALL that parcel of land situate in the District of Arutanga, in the Island of Aitutaki, Cook Islands, containing ten (10) perches, be the same a little more or less, being part of Section 138, Aratea, as the said parcel of land is delineated in the plan numbered 6 signed by the Deputy Resident Commissioner of Rarotonga, and deposited in the office of the Registrar of the High Court of the Cook Islands at Rarotonga.

Appointing a Time and Place for First Meeting of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by section 4 of the Electric-power Boards Amendment Act, 1920, I, Joseph Gordon Coates, Minister of Public Works, do hereby appoint Thursday, the 19th day of January, 1922, at 10.30 o’clock a.m., as the time when, and the Rangitikei County Council Chambers, High Street, Marton, as the place at which, the first meeting of the Wanganui-Rangitikei Electric-power Board shall be held.
