IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anyway enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the third day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 3 acres 2 roods 13 perches.

Portion of Waikoropupu Block, situated in Blocks XIII, Thames, and IV, Waihou Survey Districts.

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 51990, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
