MANGONUI COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by section 16 of the Local Bodies' Loans Act,
1913, and the Counties Act, 1920, and the Housing Act, 1919,
and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the
Mangonui County Council hereby resolves as follows:-

That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of
interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Mangonui
County Council Special Loan of £2,000, 1921, authorized to be
raised by the said Council, under the above-mentioned Acts,
for the purpose of acquisition of land or land and buildings for
workers' dwellings in the Mangonui County, the said Council
hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-twelfth of a
penny (1/12d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value
(on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property
in the County of Mangonui; and that such special rate shall
be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of September
in each and every year during the currency of such loan,
being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until
the loan is fully paid off.
