That the corporate seal be affixed to all such debentures,
and that all such debentures and coupons be signed by the
Mayor and countersigned by the City Treasurer, but so that
their respective signatures to the coupons may be lithographed
on the coupons. -
And, further, that this resolution be submitted for
confirmation as a special order to an ordinary meeting of the
said Council to be held on Wednesday, the 28th day of
September, 1921.
The foregoing resolution was submitted to an ordinary
meeting of the Dunedin City Council held on Wednesday,
28th September, and confirmed as a special order.

GREYTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and
amendments, the Greytown Borough Council hereby resolves
as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect
of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan
of ten thousand pounds sterling (£10,000), authorized to
be raised by the Greytown Borough Council, under the
Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and amendments, for the
purpose of the establishment and construction upon or under
the streets and public places of the borough or outside the
borough, and upon or under any private lands and buildings
within or outside the borough, of all such drains or drainage-
works in addition to or extension of the present drainage-
works within and outside the borough as may be needful
for the efficient drainage of the borough; and to provide
advances to owners of lands and buildings within the borough
to enable them to provide, construct, and lay such private
drains and to connect the same with the borough drainage-
works, and to provide and affix such sanitary appliances, and
generally to execute, provide, and do such works, materials,
and things as the Borough Council shall require to be done
for the efficient drainage and sanitation of such lands and
buildings; the said Greytown Borough Council hereby
makes and levies a special rate of tenpence in the pound
sterling (on the basis of the annual value) upon the rateable
value of all rateable property of the Borough of Greytown,
comprising the whole of the said Borough of Greytown.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the first day of April in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years,
or until the loan is fully paid off.

GREYTOWN BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and
amendments, the Greytown Borough Council hereby resolves
as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect
of interest and principal and also the other charges on a loan
of four hundred pounds sterling (£400), authorized to be
raised by the Greytown Borough Council, under the Local
Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and amendments, for the purpose
of erecting a bridge over the Waingawa River and a bridge
over the Tauherenikau River, the said Greytown Borough
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one half-
penny in the pound sterling (on the basis of the annual value)
upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough
of Greytown, comprising the whole of the said Borough of
Greytown; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable
yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during
the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a
half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and
amendments, the Greytown Borough Council hereby resolves
as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect
of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan
of one thousand and five hundred pounds (£1,500) sterling,
authorized to be raised by the Greytown Borough Council,
under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and amendments,
for the purpose of the construction of high-pressure water-
supply works in extension of the existing works, the Greytown
Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
one and a halfpence (1½d.) in the pound sterling (on the basis
of the annual value) upon the rateable value of all rateable
property of the Borough of Greytown, comprising the whole
of the said Borough of Greytown; and that such special rate
shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such
loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each
and every year during the currency of such loan, being a
period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan
is fully paid off.

WOODVILLE COUNTY COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Woodville County Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect
of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan
of six hundred pounds (£600), authorized to be raised by the
Woodville County Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans
Act, 1913, sanctioned by written consent of the whole of the
ratepayers of the special rating area, for building a bridge
over the Mangaatua Stream, the said Woodville County
Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-third of
a penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable
property of the Ahuaturanga Block, comprising Sections One
to Twelve inclusive, Block VIII, Woodville Survey District ;
and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on
the first day of October in each and every year during the
currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-
half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

DUNEDIN CITY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Dunedin City Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other
charges on a loan of £89,300, authorized to be raised by the
Dunedin City Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for
the purpose of paying off a part (namely, £89,300, the remaining
part being provided for by other means) of a special loan of
£200,000 raised in 1900 for tramway purposes, under the
provisions of the Dunedin City and Suburban Tramways Act,
1900, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1900, the said
Dunedin City Council hereby makes and levies a special
rate of twopence (2d.) in the pound upon the rateable value
(on the basis of the annual value) of all rateable property of
the City of Dunedin, comprising the whole of the City of
Dunedin; and that such special rate shall be an annual-
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable
half-yearly on the 1st day of September and the 1st day of
March in each and every year during the currency of such
loan, being a period of 20 years from the 1st day of March,
1922, or until the loan is fully paid off.
