SECOND SCHEDULE.
THE repairs hereinbefore referred to consist of the provision of one new pile, 4 in. hardwood decking laid diagonally and covered with ⅜ in. thickness of bituminous composition, together with essential repairs to handrail and logging against the approaches, which work is estimated to cost approximately £500.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has, in pursuance of section 4 of the Cemeteries Act, 1908, been pleased, on the 5th day of October, 1921, to appoint ANDREW LEES to be a trustee, in the place of Edwin George Betts, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Okaiauwa Public Cemetery.
GODFREY HAMMOND to be a trustee, in place of William Patrick O'Hanlon, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Owhango Public Cemetery.
ARTHUR RONALD TURNBULL to be a trustee, in place of Thomas Henry Evans, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Kowai (Balcairn) Public Cemetery.
HARRY GASSON BROOKES and HENRY EDWIN ELSMORE to be trustees, in place of James Cooper and Percy Dowsett, resigned, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Newman Public Cemetery.
RAY JULIAN, ALBERT JOSEPH LILLY, THOMAS CHARLES BREDIN, and HENRY PIERSON to be trustees, in place of Alfred Clothier, William Henry Julian, Percival Austin Putt, and William Bland Clerk, left the district, to provide for the maintenance and care of the Warea Public Cemetery.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint JOHN ALEXANDER McCULLOUGH, of Christchurch, to be nominated member of the Court of Arbitration, on the recommendation of industrial unions of workers, under sections 66 and 72 of the Industrial Conciliation and Arbitration Act, 1908, for the residue of the term of John Alexander McCullough, resigned. The appointment is dated the 11th day of October, 1921.
