Notice published pursuant to the Provisions of Section 15 of the Public Trust Office Act, 1908, and Sections 18 and 19 of the Public Trust Office Amendment Act, 1913.

NOTICE is hereby given that, no person having taken out administration. the Public Trustee has filed, in the Supreme Court at Wellington, an election to administer the several estates of the persons deceased whose names, residences, and occupations (so far as known) are hereunder respectively set forth, their gross properties being estimated not to exceed £400 in each case.

Result of Poll for Proposed Loan.

THE following notice, received from the Chairman of the Board of the Springs-Ellsmere Electric-power District, is published in accordance with the provisions of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913.

SPRINGS-ELLESMERE ELECTRIC-POWER BOARD.

Result of Poll for the Raising of a Special Loan of £60,000.

In compliance with the requirements of the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, and the amendments of both these Acts respectively, public notice is herewith given that at the poll taken in the Springs-Ellsmere Electric-power Board's District on Wednesday, the 12th day of January, 1921, on a loan proposal to raise a special loan of £60,000 for the undernoted purposes, namely—

Erection of electric-power transmission-lines, including engineering fees and cost of supervising the work, also the taking or acquisition of lands and other rights .. .. .. .. £ 56,800

Erection of office and dwelling .. .. .. 2,000

Payment of preliminary expenses in constituting and election of the Board .. .. . 200

Initial management expenses and legal costs .. 500

Land and fencing .. .. .. .. .. 500

the following votes were recorded :—

For the Ellesmere County and Southbridge Town District combined Proposal. For the Against the constituent district .. .. .. 236 9 Proposal.

For the Springs County constituent district .. .. .. .. 66 7

The majority of valid votes in favour of the raising of the special loan being in excess of the number required by the before-mentioned Acts, I herewith declare the proposal to raise the special loan of £60,000 to be carried.
