ONE TREE HILL DOMAIN.--NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area containing 121 acres O roods 28 perches, more
or less, being Allotment No. 54 and part of Allotment No. 11,
both of Section 12, Suburbs of Auckland. Bounded towards
the north-east generally by Allotment No. 9 of Section 12,
Suburbs of Auckland, 383 links, and by other part of Allot-
ment No. 11 of the aforesaid section, 67, 976, 125, 253-9,
1153, 298-5, 266-5, 234, and 1280 links; towards the south-
east generally by Allotment No. 13 of the aforesaid section,
4735 links, and by a public road, 109 and 1465 links; towards
the south-west by a public road, 1173 links; and towards
the north-west by Allotment No. 12 of the aforesaid sec-
tion, 1455, 1635, and 1370 links : be all the aforesaid link-
ages more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan
marked L. and S. 1/14A, deposited in the Head Office, De-
partment of Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon
edged red.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of
September, 1921.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS it is provided by section twenty-two of the
Administration Act, 1908, that the security of any
incorporated company or guarantee society approved by the
Governor-General in Council may be accepted by the Court
as the security required to be given by an administrator or
other person appointed to administer an estate under the
above-mentioned Act:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of
the above-recited power and authority, and acting by and
with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the
said Dominion, doth hereby approve, for the purpose above
mentioned, of the following incorporated company, namely:--
North British and Mercantile Insurance Company
(Limited).

Prescribing the Rate of Interest that may be paid by the Gore
Borough Council in respect of a Loan of £6,000 authorized
to be raised for Renewal Purposes.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of
September, 1921.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS section eleven of the Finance Act, 1921,
provides that, notwithstanding anything to the con-
trary in any Act or in any rule of law, where a local authority
or public body has been authorized before the passing of the
said Act, or is thereafter authorized, to borrow money, whether
pursuant to a poll of ratepayers or otherwise howsoever, at
a specified rate of interest, or for a specified term exceeding
ten years, and such money or any part thereof has not been
borrowed, the local authority may, with the precedent con-
sent of the Minister of Finance, borrow such money, or such
amount thereof as has not been borrowed, at such rate of
interest, or for such term not less than ten years, as may be
prescribed by the Governor-General by Order in Council:
And whereas the Gore Borough Council has been
authorized to borrow the sum of six thousand pounds for
renewal purposes, and is unable to obtain the money:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his pre-
cedent consent as required by the above-recited section
eleven, and it is desired that the rate of interest at which
the said six thousand pounds may be borrowed be increased
to not exceeding six and a half per centum per annum:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby prescribe that the rate of interest that may be
paid by the Gore Borough Council in respect of the said six
thousand pounds shall be a rate not exceeding six and a half
per centum per annum, and the said Gore Borough Council
is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum of six thousand
pounds accordingly.

Prescribing the Rate of Interest that may be paid by the Oroua
County Council in respect of a Loan of £500 for purchasing
Roadmaking Machinery.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of
September, 1921.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS section eleven of the Finance Act, 1921,
provides that, notwithstanding anything to the con-

it is desired that the rate of interest at which the money may
be borrowed be increased to not exceeding six per centum per
annum:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby prescribe that the rate of interest that may be
paid by the Oroua County Council in respect of the loan of five
hundred pounds shall be a rate not exceeding six per centum,
and the said Oroua County Council is hereby authorized to
borrow the said sum of five hundred pounds accordingly.

church City Council in respect of £5,600, being the Balance of
a Loan of £16,000 authorized to be raised for purchasing a
Property for Municipal Buildings.

September, 1921.

Present:

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS section eleven of the Finance Act, 1921,

an increased rate of interest:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent
consent as required by the above-recited section eleven, and
it is desired that the rate of interest at which the said five
thousand six hundred pounds may be borrowed be increased
to not exceeding six and a half per centum per annum:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice
and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion,
doth hereby prescribe that the rate of interest that may be
paid by the Christchurch City Council in respect of the said
five thousand six hundred pounds shall be a rate not exceeding
six and a half per centum per annum, and the said Christ-
church City Council is hereby authorized to borrow the said
sum of five thousand six hundred pounds accordingly.
