Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of
the Dominion of New Zealand, in exercise of the hereinbefore-
recited power and authority, doth hereby appoint Albert
Edward Lawrence to be a member of the Oamaru Harbour
Board, in the place of Jasper Gauntlett Nicolls, deceased.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-

Scenic Reserve Inspector appointed.

JELLICOE, Governor-General.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section four of the Scenery Preservation Act, 1908, I,
John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the
Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby appoint
ALEXANDER CARTER GRAHAM
to be an Inspector under the said Act in respect to the
scenic reserve described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

FRANZ JOSEF SCENIC RESERVE.
ALL that area in the Westland Land District, containing
about 48,500 acres, being Reserve 1461, situated within the
Survey Districts of Waiho, Waitangi-taona, and Mount Cook,
and bounded as follows: Starting at the south-western
corner of Section 2197, and following the southern boundary
of that section for a distance of 8929·3 links; thence across
a road, 100 links; thence along the southern boundary of
Section 2199 for 4731·6 links; thence down the western side
of Reserve 339 for 597·2 links to the south-western corner
thereof, and by the southern boundary of the said reserve,
5261·1 links; and thence across road reserve to the left bank
of the Waiho River, 696·2 links; thence in a northerly direc-
tion along the said bank a distance of 5 chains, crossing the
river to the side peg east of road peg VIII; thence in a
north-easterly direction eighty chains to the left bank of the
Atupau River; and thence along the said bank to the main
branch below the glacier; and thence along that branch to
McFettrick Peak; and thence to the northward and eastward
of the glaciers at the head of the Wataroa River; and thence
between Callery and Whymper Glaciers to Elie de Beaumont;
thence along the main range to Mount Tuckett; thence along
the spur generally in a north-westerly direction to Mount Roon,
skirting the south-western side of the glacier lying to the
south-west of Franz Josef Glacier to Moltke Peak; thence
to the head-waters of Docherty Creek and along the right
bank of that creek to a point due west of the south-western
corner of Section 2197; and thence due east three chains to
the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid distances
more or less. As the same is delineated on the plan marked
L. and S. 621/5c, deposited in the Head Office, Department of
Lands and Survey, at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

General, this 2nd day of September, 1921.

Revocation of the Nomination of Assessors in Criminal Trials
in the High Court of the Cook Islands.

JELLICOE, Governor-General.

PURSUANT to the authority vested in me by section
two hundred and ninety-five of the Cook Islands Act,
1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby revoke the nomina-
tion of the persons named in the Schedule hereto as qualified
for appointment as Assessors in criminal trials in the High
Court of the Cook Islands.

two hundred and ninety-five of the Cook Islands Act,
1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor
General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby nominate
the persons named in the Schedule hereto as qualified for
appointment as Assessors in criminal trials in the High Court
of the Cook Islands; and I declare that this Warrant shall
take effect on the fifth day of August, one thousand nine
hundred and twenty-one.
