Meeting of the General Assembly for the Despatch of Business.

To the LEGISLATIVE COUNCILLORS of the Dominion of New Zealand and the MEMBERS elected to serve in the HOUSE OF REPRESENTATIVES of the said Dominion, summoned and called to a Meeting of the General Assembly of the said Dominion, at the City of Wellington, on the eighteenth day of the month of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, to have been commenced and held, and to every of you: GREETING.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS the Meeting of the General Assembly stands prorogued to the eighteenth day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one: Nevertheless, for certain causes and considerations I have thought fit further to prorogue the same to Thursday, the twenty-second day of the month of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, so that neither you nor any of you, on the said eighteenth day of August, at the City of Wellington, are to be held constrained to appear; commanding and by the tenor of these presents enjoining you and each of you, and all others in this behalf interested, that on Thursday, the twenty-second day of the month of September, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, personally you be and appear for the DESPATCH OF BUSINESS, at half past two oโ€™clock in the afternoon, in the Parliament Houses, situate in Bowen Street, in the City of Wellington, there to take into consideration the state and welfare of the said Dominion of New Zealand, and therein to do as may seem necessary.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of August, 1921.
