Land set apart as Provisional State Forests.

A PROCLAMATION.
BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the Crown land described in the Schedule hereto as and for provisional State forests.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
ALL that area of land in the Westland Land District, being Reserve No. 1708, situate in Blocks X and XI, Waitaha Survey District, containing 1,400 acres, more or less, bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by Sections 3076β14 and Duffers Creek, towards the south-east by State Forest Reserve No. 1631, towards the south-west by the Te Raho Taiepa River, and towards the north-west by the Tasman Sea.
Also all that area of land in the Westland Land District, being Reserve No. 1709, situate in Blocks VII and XI, Waitaha Survey District, containing 600 acres, more or less, bounded as follows: Towards the north-east by the Waitaha River; towards the south-east by State Forest Reserve No. 1631; towards the south-west by State Forest Reserve No. 1631 and Section 2354, Block XI, Waitaha Survey District; and towards the north-west by Sections 3077, Block XI, 2962, and Reserve No. 648 (South Waitaha Town Reserve), Block VII, Waitaha Survey District.
As the said areas are more particularly delineated on atlas No. W. 132, deposited in the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington, and thereon coloured green.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 28th day of July, 1921.

Land withdrawn from Provisional State-forest Reservation.

A PROCLAMATION.
WHEREAS by a Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted on the eighth day of May of that year, certain land in Arawata Survey District, in the Westland Land District, was, inter alia, set apart as and for a provisional State forest in terms of section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918:
And whereas the land described in the Schedule hereto (being part of the land so set apart) is required for settlement, and it is expedient that the said Proclamation should be revoked in so far as it relates to the land described in the said Schedule:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by clauses (b) and (c) of subsection three of section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby revoke the Proclamation dated the twenty-ninth day of April, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, hereinbefore referred to, in so far as it relates to the land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
WESTLAND FOREST-CONSERVATION REGION.
Description of Land withdrawn from Provisional State Forests.
ALL that area of land in the Westland Land District, being part of Provisional State Forest Reserve No. 1692, situated in Blocks I, II, and VI, Arawata Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 74 acres 1 rood 20 perches, more or less, being Sections Nos. 521, 529, 537, 538, 540, 34, 35, and 561. As the said area of land is more particularly delineated on forest atlas sheet No. W. 155, deposited at the Head Office of the State Forest Service at Wellington.
Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 30th day of July, 1921.
