Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Waitemata County Council raising the said sum of five thousand pounds upon the terms of making the same, together with interest thereon, repayable by instalments extending over a period of thirty-six and a half years, and the said Waitemata County Council is hereby authorized to borrow the said sum of five thousand pounds on these terms.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road in the Wellington Land District, Kaitieke County, Raurimu Township, known as the Makaretu Road, commencing at the boundary between Sections 2 and 3, Block IX, Raurimu Township, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly direction, adjoining or passing through Sections 3, 4, and 5, Block IX, Raurimu Township, and terminating at its junction with the Raurimu-Waimarino Road; being a distance of nineteen chains, more or less. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52149, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52148, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 52147, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section seventeen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1912, it is enacted that the Governor-General may by Order in Council, on the recommendation of the Native Land Court, declare any Native to be a European:
And whereas Hohua Rawiri Puaha Prosser, of Porirua, being a Native within the meaning of the Native Land Act, 1909, applied in the prescribed form for a recommendation of the Court that he might be declared a European: And whereas the said Court, having duly inquired into the said application, has recommended that an Order in Council be issued declaring the said Hohua Rawiri Puaha Prosser to be a European: And whereas it is expedient that such declaration should be made:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred on him by section seventeen of the Native Land Amendment Act, 1912, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare the said Hohua Rawiri Puaha Prosser to be a European.
