HIS Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to approve of the appointments, promotions, resignations, and transfers of the undermentioned officers of the N.Z. Permanent Force and Territorial Force.

COMMANDS.

Lieutenant-Colonel Charles Willis Coles is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, Class I (b). Dated 8th July, 1921.

Captain Leonard Campbell Forgie to be Major. Dated 23rd May, 1921.

Captain (temp. Lieutenant-Colonel) Maxwell Ramsay, M.B., is transferred to the N.Z. Medical Corps, Reserve of Officers, Class I (b), with the rank of Lieutenant-Colonel. Dated 8th July, 1921.

Captain (temp. Major) Philip Blaxland Benham, M.C., M.B., is transferred to the N.Z. Medical Corps, Reserve of Officers, with the rank of Major. Dated 8th July, 1921.

2nd Lieutenant Cyril Royston Guyton Bassett, V.C. (4th Battery), is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, with the rank of Lieutenant. Dated 4th July, 1921.

Lieutenant-Colonel Gilbert James Beattie (9th Battery) is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 2nd July, 1921.

CORPS OF N.Z. ENGINEERS.
