it is desired that the rate of interest at which the said three thousand pounds may be borrowed be increased to five and three-quarters per centum:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe that the rate of interest that may be paid by the Kawhia County Council in respect of the said three thousand pounds shall be five and three-quarters per centum, and the said Kawhia County Council is hereby authorized to borrow the sum of three thousand pounds at this rate.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS section eleven of the Finance Act, 1921, provides that, notwithstanding anything to the contrary in any Act or in any rule of law, where a local authority or public body has been authorized before the passing of the said Act, or is thereafter authorized, to borrow money, whether pursuant to a poll of ratepayers or otherwise howsoever, at a specified rate of interest, or for a specified term exceeding ten years, and such money or any part thereof has not been borrowed, the local authority may, with the precedent consent of the Minister of Finance, borrow such money, or such amount thereof as has not been borrowed, at such rate of interest, or for such term not less than ten years, as may be prescribed by the Governor-General by Order in Council:
And whereas the Waitemata County Council has been authorized to borrow the sum of twenty thousand pounds, for the purpose of road-construction, metalling, and bridge-building in the Waitakere Riding, at five and a quarter per centum, and is unable to obtain the whole of the money at this rate:
And whereas the Minister of Finance has given his precedent consent as required by the above-recited section eleven, and it is desired that the rate of interest at which the five thousand pounds, being part of the loan of twenty thousand pounds, may be borrowed be increased to six per centum:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prescribe that the rate of interest that may be paid by the Waitemata County Council in respect of the said five thousand pounds shall be six per centum, and the said Waitemata County Council is hereby authorized to borrow the sum of five thousand pounds at this rate.

Revocation of Order in Council setting apart Land under the Workers' Dwellings Act, 1910.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this 27th day of June, 1921.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-second day of December, one thousand nine hundred and eleven, and gazetted on the eleventh day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twelve, the land described in the Schedule hereto was, inter alia, set apart for the purposes of the Workers' Dwellings Act, 1910: And whereas it now appears that the said land is no longer required for such purposes:
Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by subsection two of section nine of the Housing Act, 1919, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby revoke the said Order in Council in so far as it relates to the said land described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that area in the Marlborough Land District, containing by admeasurement 8 acres 2 roods 15 perches, more or less, being Section 15 and parts of Sections 13 and 14, Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District. Bounded towards the north-east by parts of Sections 13 and 14, Block XVI, Cloudy Bay Survey District, 289 links, 610·1 links, 554·7 links, 159 links, and 305·8 links; towards the south by a public road, 1106·6 links; and towards the west by a public road, 1533·5 links, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon him by the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations for the purposes of section thirty-four of the said Act.
REGULATIONS.
- INTERPRETATION.--“Board” means an Electric-power Board duly constituted in accordance with the provisions of the Electric-power Boards Act, 1918.
