Loan and Trust Company (Limited), is intended to take
effect as a special resolution:—

with be wound up, it is therefore resolved that the company
be wound up voluntarily; and that CYRIL GUY LENNARD,
of Auckland, Solicitor, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose
of winding up the said company."

MANAWATU COUNTY COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and its
amendments, and the Counties Act, 1920.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Manawatu
County proposes, under the provisions of the above-
named Acts, and all other Acts and powers enabling it in
that behalf, to execute a certain public work—namely, a
gravel-pit and road access thereto ; and for the purpose of
such public work the lands described in the First and Second
Schedules hereto are required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the lands
so to be taken is deposited in the office of the said Council in
the Council Chambers at Sanson, and is there open for
inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office
hours. All persons affected by the execution of the said
public work or the taking of such land should, if they have
any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said
public work or to the taking of the said lands, set forth the
same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days
from the first publication of this notice, to the said Council
at its office aforesaid.

Area, 1 rood 22·9 perches ; part Section 16, Aorangi No. 1

WATER-RACE.
UNDER THE MINING ACT, 1908.
To the Warden of the Hauraki Mining District at
Thames.
PURSUANT to the Mining Act, 1908, the undersigned,
the Thames County Council, by its County Clerk,
H. T. G. McElroy, hereby applies for a license for a water-
race as specified in the Schedule hereto, the course whereof
has been duly marked out for the purpose.
Precise time of marking out privilege applied for: 4th
March, 1921, at 11 a.m,
Date and number of miner's right: 1/3/21; No. 120074.
Address for service: Mary Street, Thames.

Points of intake: At a dam shown at pegs marked H.
Mean depth and breadth: 2 ft. by 1 ft. 8 in.
