Portion of Road in Block XIII, Matiri Survey District, Murchison County, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of June, 1921

PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Murchison County Council on the twenty-fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty—viz., “That this Council is of opinion that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, should not apply to the road through Lots 1, 2, and 3 of Mr. Alex. Thomson's estate on Four River Plain, in Block XIII, Matiri Survey District, and that the approval of the Governor in Council to this resolution be asked for”; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on either side of the portion of road described in the Schedule hereto, within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road situated in the Nelson Land District, Murchison County, adjoining or passing through Sections 57, 58, 59, 62, and 63, Square 138, and Sections 13 and 15, Block XIII, Matiri Survey District. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50503, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red and marked A-B.

Prohibiting all Alienation of certain Native Land other than Alienation in favour of the Crown.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby prohibit, for the period of one year from the date of this Order in Council, all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

Recreation Reserve in Hawke's Bay Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the Hawke's Bay Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Eskdale Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE.
ESKDALE DOMAIN.—HAWKE'S BAY LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the Hawke's Bay Land District, containing by admeasurement 12 acres 1 rood 0·4 perches, more or less, being portion of and accretion to Block 8, Eskdale Crown-grant District, Block XI, Puketapu Survey District. Bounded toward the north-east by Esk River; towards the south-east by a public road a distance of 609·7 links; towards the south-west by Block 8, Eskdale Crown-grant District, a distance of 1825·85 links; and towards the north-west by Block 8, Eskdale Crown-grant District, and Crown land, a distance of 645·6 links: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less.

Regulations for Training Colleges.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 20th day of June, 1921.

THE HONOURABLE SIR F. H. D. BELL, K.C.M.G., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in him by the Education Act, 1914, and the amendments of that Act, and all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the amendment set out hereafter in the regulations in force for training colleges; and doth prescribe that this Order shall come into force on the date of the first publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.
AMENDMENT.
CLAUSE 4 (2) of the Regulations for Training Colleges is hereby amended by inserting the words “or approved kindergarten schools” after the words “technical high schools.”
