THE creditors of the above-named company are required, on or before the 28th day of February, 1921, to send their names and addresses and particulars of their debts or claims, and the names and addresses of their solicitors (if any), to Donald Gordon Johnston, Public Accountant, 39 Johnston Street, Wellington, the Liquidator of the said company; and, if so required by notice in writing from the said Liquidator, to come in and prove their said debts or claims at some time or place as shall be specified in such notice, or in default thereof they will be excluded from the benefit of any distribution made before such debts are proved.

NOTICE is hereby given that at a general meeting attended by all the members of the above-named company held in Wellington on Tuesday, 11th January, 1921, the following resolution was duly passed :-

KAWHIA COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Kawhia County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £4,000, authorized to be raised by the Kawhia County Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for metalling portion of the Kawhia-Pirongia Road, the said Kawhia County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of twopence halfpenny (2½d.) in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Kawhia-Pirongia Special Rating Area, comprising all that portion of the Kawhia County included within the following boundaries,-
Commencing at the westernmost corner of Pirongia West No. 1 Section 2D ; towards the north by the said section, a line across a road, and a right line from the north-eastern corner of the said section to the north-western corner of Waihinu No. 1 Sec. 2E No. 1, and by Waihinu No. 1 Sec. 2E No. 4 ; towards the east by the Waihinu Road to the junction thereof with the Kawhia-Pirongia Road ; thence by a line drawn in an easterly direction from the said junction to the western boundary of Pirongia West No. 1 Sec. 2F ; towards the east and north by the said Sec. 2F and Crown land ; towards the west by the said Crown land ; towards the north by Sections 13, 12, and 11, Block V, Pirongia S.D. ; towards the west by the said Section 11 ; towards the north by Section 9 and a line crossing a road ; towards the east generally by Section 1, Block VI, and the Waitomo County boundary to the southernmost corner of Section 8, Block IX ; towards the south-west by Section 12 ; towards the south generally by the said Section 12, and Section 11, Block IX, and Section 2, Block XII (E.R.) ; towards the north-west and again towards the south by Section 6, Block XII ; towards the west by Section 7 ; towards the south-west by a right line from the westernmost corner of Section 5, Block XII, to the south-western corner of Pirongia West No. 1 Sec. 2B No. 2 ; towards the south-east by Te Kauri No. 2c, a line across a road, and Te Kauri No. 2f ; towards the south-west and south by Pirongia West No. 1A ; towards the east by the said No. 1A to the Kawhia Harbour ; thence generally towards the south-west, and north-west by the said harbour and the Oparau River to the point of commencement.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 17th day of August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

OTICE is hereby given that by an entry in its minute-book signed by all of the members on the 31st day of December, 1920, it was resolved that the company be wound up voluntarily under the provisions of the Companies Act, 1908 ; and that ROBERT KING, of Te Puke, in the Provincial District of Auckland and Dominion of New Zealand, Merchant, be appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such Liquidation.

RANGITIKEI COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.-LOAN OF £1,000.- UPPER KAWHATAU AND HIKURANGI BRIDGES.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Rangitikei County Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Rangitikei County Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of providing a portion of the cost of constructing a bridge over the Upper Kawhatau River opposite Section 2, Block V, Ruahine Survey District, also a bridge over the Hikurangi River opposite Section 13, Block IX, Ruahine Survey District, together with the necessary approaches to the said bridges, and to construct the road connecting the said bridges and passing through Section 20, Block IX, Ruahine Survey District, the said Rangitikei County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one five-hundred-and-fortieth of a penny (1/540d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property situate within the whole of the County of Rangitikei, exclusive of the Town District of Lethbridge ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of May in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six years and a half (36½ years), or until the loan is fully paid off.

WHAKATANE BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Whakatane Borough Council hereby resolves as follows :-
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Whakatane Borough Council Surface Drainage Loan of £4,000, authorized to be raised by the Whakatane Borough Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of carrying out a system of surface drainage for the borough, the Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-sixteenths (5/16ths) of a penny in the pound sterling on rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Whakatane ; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first day of April in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
