suance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by subsection three of section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918, and of all other powers and authorities enabling me in this behalf, do hereby rescind the said Proclamation dated the fifth day of July, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, hereinbefore referred to, in so far as it relates to the lands described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

DESCRIPTION OF LAND TO BE WITHDRAWN FROM PROVISIONAL STATE FORESTS.

Also all that area of Crown land in the Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 403 acres, more or less, being Section 6A, Block VI, Rotoma Survey District. As the same is delineated on plan marked 103, in green, deposited in the Head Office, Department of Forestry, at Wellington, and thereon bordered red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of January, 1921.

A PROCLAMATION.

BY virtue and in exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon me by section thirty-four of the War Legislation and Statute Law Amendment Act, 1918, and section two of the State Forests Amendment Act, 1919, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby set apart the national-endowment land described in the Schedule hereto as and for a provisional State forest.

SCHEDULE.

WESTLAND LAND DISTRICT.

All that area of land in the Westland Land District, situated in Blocks XI, XII, XV, and XVI, Oneone Survey District; and Blocks III and IV, Wataroa Survey District, being Reserve No. 1705, containing 3,400 acres, more or less, bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 2923, and proceeding along the southern boundary of that section to its south-western corner; thence along the south-western boundary of that section, across a road reserve, and along the south-western boundaries of Sections 2924 and 2925, and again across a road reserve, and along the south-western and north-western boundary of Section 2926, continuing across to the right bank of the Poerua River; thence along the said river-bank to a point in line with the north-western corner of Section 2920; thence along the north-western boundary of aforesaid section to its north-eastern corner; thence along the north-eastern boundary of said Section 2920, and by the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 2919 and 2918, across a road, and along the north-eastern boundary of Section 2917 to its south-eastern corner; thence by the south-eastern and south-western boundaries of the said Section 2917 to the south-eastern corner of Bridge Reserve 1245, proceeding along the north-eastern boundary of the said reserve to the north-eastern corner; thence along the northern boundary to the left-hand bank of the Poerua River to a point in line with the northern boundary of Reserve 1245; thence generally in a southerly direction along the left-hand bank of the said Poerua River to the place of commencement. As the same is delineated on plan No. 43, deposited in the Head Office, Forestry Department, at Wellington, and thereon bordered green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of January, 1921.

Crown Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of Crown land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

SCHEDULE.

CROWN LAND.

Auckland Land District.

Section 3, Block LXIV, Te Aroha Township: Area, 2 roods.

Taranaki Land District.

All that piece or parcel of land, situated in the Taranaki Land District, being Section 6 of Block X, Ohura Survey District, and containing by admeasurement 593 acres 2 roods, 23 perches, being bounded as follows:—

Firstly, that piece of land, containing by admeasurement 573 acres 0 roods 23 perches, being part of the above-mentioned section, bounded on the north by Section 5 of aforesaid block and survey district, 13737·9 links; on the east generally by Kopuha Road, 12884·5 links; on the south by Section 7 of aforesaid block and survey district, 8263·3 links; on the west generally by river-bank reserve one chain wide.

Secondly, that piece of land, containing by admeasurement 20 acres 2 roods, being part of the above-mentioned section, bounded on the east generally by river-bank reserve, 3816 links; on the south-east by Section 4 of Block XI, Ohura Survey District, 1122 links; on the south-west, west, and north by Kopuha Road, 4784·7 links.

Be all the aforesaid areas and linkages a little more or less.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 18th day of January, 1920.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.

In the North Auckland Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48334, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 11th day of January, 1921.
