Settlement Land set apart for Disposal by way of Sale or Lease to Discharged Soldiers, under Special Tenures, in the Wellington Land District.

A PROCLAMATION.
I N pursuance of the power and authority conferred upon me by section four of the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the areas of settlement land described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same are hereby set apart and declared open for disposal by way of sale or lease to discharged soldiers, under special tenures, in the manner provided in the said Act.

Allocating Land reserved and taken for a Railway to the Purposes of a Street at Manurewa.

A PROCLAMATION.
W HEREAS the land described in the Schedule hereto forms part of land taken for the purposes of the Kaipara—Waikato Railway, and it is considered desirable to allocate such land to the purposes of a street:
Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by section one hundred and ninety-seven of the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto shall, upon the publication hereof in the New Zealand Gazette, become a street, and that the said road shall be under the control of the Manurewa Town Board, and shall be maintained by the said Board in like manner as other public highways are controlled and maintained by the said Board.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land: 4·82 perches.
Portion of Railway Reserve, Block XIV, Otahuhu Survey District, Town District of Manurewa. (S.O. 21303, blue.)
In the North Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked W.R. 28898, deposited in the office of the Minister of Railways at Wellington, and thereon coloured red.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land proclaimed as a road: 35·5 perches.
