pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred on me by section seventy-three of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, do hereby direct that the Waimate West County Council shall in respect of the above-mentioned loan pay annually to the Egmont County Council, on the first day of February in each and every year during the currency of the said loan, the above-mentioned amount of nineteen pounds eleven shillings and sevenpence as its duly proportionate part of the interest and other charges payable in respect of the said loan.

Certain Species of Frogs absolutely protected.

IN exercise of the powers vested in me by section twenty-five of the Animals Protection Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do by this notification absolutely prohibit the taking or killing of the native frogs Liopelma Hamiltoni and Liopelma Hochstetteri; and I do hereby declare that this notification shall take effect on the publication thereof in the New Zealand Gazette.

Declaring certain Areas in the Rotorua Acclimatization District to be Sanctuaries for Imported and Native Game.

JELLICOE, Governor-General.

PURSUANT to the powers vested in me by the Animals Protection Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby notify and declare the areas described in the Schedule hereto to be sanctuaries for the purposes of the said Animals Protection Act, and that no imported or native game shall be taken or killed within the said areas.


SCHEDULE.

ALL that area in the Auckland Land District, the property of Mr. Thomas Seccombe, being Section 108A, Matata Parish, in Block III, Awa-o-te-Atua Survey District, containing 570 acres, more or less.


Also all that area, the property of Mrs. Thomas Seccombe, being the Torotoro Lagoon and within forty chains thereof, lying within the boundaries of Sections 117 and 125, Matata Parish, in Block X, Rangitaiki Upper Survey District.

As witness the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General, this 19th day of May, 1921.
