rate of one halfpenny in the pound upon the unimproved
value of all rateable property classified “A,” one farthing
in the pound upon the unimproved value of all rateable
property classified “B,” and one-eighth of a penny upon
the unimproved value of all rateable property classified “C,”

that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during
the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the first
day of November in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of 36½ years, or until the loan

MASTERTON COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Masterton County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of five thousand pounds, authorized to be raised by the Masterton County Council, under the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of providing the Masterton County Council’s share of the cost of constructing bridges over the Tauaru River and the Rorokoko Stream at Tauaru and Rorokoko, known as the Tauaru Traffic-bridge and the Rorokoko Traffic-bridge, both bridges being on the Masterton-Waimata Road, the said Masterton County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one thirty-sixth of a penny in the pound upon the capital rateable value of all the rateable property of the County of Masterton; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate, and payable half-yearly on the first days of February and August in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Waitomo County Council proposes, under the provisions of the above-mentioned Acts, to effect certain public works—namely, to construct a road; and for the purpose of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the public office of the County Clerk of the said Council situate in Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti, and is open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during the ordinary office hours.
All persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of such land, who have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of the said land, must state their objections in writing, and send the same, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the County Clerk, Council Chambers, Taupiri Street, Te Kuiti.
