Clause 26 of the said regulations is hereby amended by deleting the words “a married allowance” in subclause (1), and substituting therefor the words “an amount.”

Clause 30 of the said regulations is hereby amended (a) by deleting from subclause (1) the words “commencing with the year 1920,” also by deleting the words “paid to” and substituting therefor the words “receivable by”; and (b) by revoking subclause (2) thereof. This clause shall be deemed to have been in force on and after 1st April, 1920.

Clause 40 of the said regulations is hereby amended by deleting the words “clause 35,” and substituting the words “clause 37.”

Clause 41 of the said regulations is hereby amended by deleting the words “clause 36,” and substituting therefor the words “clause 38.”

Clause 47 of the said regulations is hereby amended by inserting, after the words “scholarship-holders,” the words “or pupils of any lower department.”

The Western Side of Portion of Road in the Horowhenua County exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 24th day of March, 1921.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Horowhenua County Council on the twelfth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one—viz., “The Horowhenua County Council, having control of all that portion of road abutting on a subdivision of Sections 9, 10, and 11 of Section 26, Ohau No. 3, of Block IV, Waitohu Survey District, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the said road”; such portion of road being described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of road situated in the Wellington Land District, Horowhenua County, abutting on a subdivision of Sections 9, 10, and 11 of Section 26, Ohau No. 3, Block IV, Waitohu Survey District. As the said portion of road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 46592, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Northern Side of Portion of Clemow Road, in the Borough of New Plymouth, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the New Plymouth Borough Council on the twentieth day of January, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one—viz., “That the New Plymouth Borough Council, being the local authority having control of the road or street herein-after mentioned, hereby resolves and declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen, subsection one, of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of the northern side of Clemow Road within the Borough of New Plymouth to which Subdivisions 1 and 2 of Lot A, Section 95, Fitzroy District, have frontages”; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the northern side of the portion of Clemow Road described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of thirty-three feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of Clemow Road, in the Taranaki Land District, Borough of New Plymouth, abutting on Subdivisions 1 and 2 of Lot A of Section 95, Fitzroy District. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50943, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

The Southern Side of Portion of O’Neill Street, Ponsonby, in the City of Auckland, exempted from the Provisions of Section 117 of the Public Works Act, 1908, subject to a Condition as to the Building-line.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in any-wise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the seventeenth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one—viz., “The Auckland City Council, having control of O’Neill Street, Ponsonby, in the City of Auckland, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the portion of the said street fronting Lots 11, 14, and 17 of the subdivision of Allotment 29 of Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland”; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall at any time be erected on the southern side of the portion of O’Neill Street described in the Schedule hereto within a distance of twenty-five feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of O’Neill Street, Ponsonby, in the North Auckland Land District, City of Auckland, abutting on Lots 11, 14, and 17 of Allotment 29, Section 8, Suburbs of Auckland. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49573, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured blue.
