this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the
Schedule hereto is hereby taken for street-widening and
waterworks purposes, and shall vest in the Mayor, Coun-cillors, and Citizens of the City of Wellington, as from the
date hereinafter mentioned ; and I do also declare that this
Proclamation shall take effect on and after the second day
of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one.
