Consenting to stopping Portions of Road in Block X, Waiau Survey District, Wairoa County.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of February, 1921.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby consent to the Wairoa County Council stopping the portions of road described in the Schedule hereto.
SCHEDULE.
APPROXIMATE areas of the pieces of road permitted to be stopped:—

0 1 33 Adjoining or passing through Section 8, ferry reserve.
Situated in Block X, Waiau Survey District (Poverty Bay R.D.). (S.O. 923, brown.)
In the Hawke’s Bay Land District; as the same are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 48938, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured green.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of February, 1921.

I N pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by sections sixty-two and sixty-six of the Cook Islands Act, 1915, and of any other power and authority in that behalf enabling him, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby amend the Order in Council constituting Island Councils dated the twenty-first day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the thirtieth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and sixteen, by revoking paragraph (c) of clause 1 thereof, relating to the Island Council of Rarotonga, and substituting the following provision in lieu thereof:—
“(c.) Four other persons to be nominated by the Governor-General, to hold office during his pleasure.”

Declaring Bickerstaffe Station Approach Road, in the Otamatea County, to be a County Road.

I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the road described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become a county road.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that road in the North Auckland Land District, Otamatea County, known as Bickerstaffe Station Approach Road, commencing at its junction with the Maungaturoto to Batley Road one chain and a half south of the northern boundary of Section 35, Block XII, Waipu Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a westerly direction through the said Section 35 to its termination at the Bickerstaffe Station Yard on the North Auckland Main Trunk Railway; being a distance of 16·5 chains, more or less. As the said road is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50824, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured orange.

Declaring Portions of Pihautea Road and Hikinui Road, in the Featherston County, to be County Roads.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of February, 1921.

THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
I N pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in him by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby order and declare that the portions of roads described in the Schedule hereto shall, on and after the date of this Order in Council, become county roads.
SCHEDULE.
ALL that portion of the Pihautea Road, in the Wellington Land District, Featherston County, commencing at the northern corner of Section 25s, Block XII, Wairarapa Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 25s to a point on the northern boundary of the said Section 25s, Block XII, Wairarapa Survey District.
Also all that portion of the Pihautea Road, in the said land district and county, commencing on the western bank of the Ruamahanga River in Section 23s, Block XII, Wairarapa Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a southerly and south-westerly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 23s, Sections 24s, 25s, 26s, Tauparaha No. 2, 27s, 28s, 29s, 30s, 2c, 2b, Block XII, Wairarapa Survey District, and terminating at the boundary between the said Section 2b and Section 1b, Block XII, Wairarapa Survey District.
Being a total distance of 3 miles 9 chains, more or less.
Also all that portion of Hikinui Road, in the said land district and county, commencing at its junction with the Pihautea Road opposite Section 15s, Block XII, Wairarapa Survey District, and proceeding thence generally in a north-easterly and south-easterly direction, adjoining or passing through the said Section 15s, Sections 14s, 13s, 9s, 8s, 7s, 10s, 11s, Block XII, Wairarapa Survey District, and terminating at the north-eastern boundary of the said Section 11s; being a distance of 1 mile 70 chains, more or less.
As the said portions of roads are more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50828, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.
