Revoking the Prohibition of the Exportation of Live Pigs, also of Pork, Bacon, and Hams.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of February, 1921.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section forty-seven of the Customs Act, 1913, and section twenty-four of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, doth hereby further amend the Order in Council made on the twenty-fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the twenty-seventh day of November then instant, which prohibited to the extent specified therein the exportation from New Zealand of certain goods, by omitting from the Second Schedule thereto the words "Pigs, live" and "Pork, bacon, and hams."

Apportionment of Representation and Election of Representatives on the South Otago Hospital Board.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of February, 1921.

Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.

WHEREAS by the Hospitals and Charitable Institutions Amendment Act, 1920, the South Otago Hospital District was constituted a hospital district:

And whereas by the said Act it was further enacted that the Board of such hospital district shall consist of such number of representatives of the contributory districts within the hospital district as the Governor-General, by Order in Council, from time to time determines:

And whereas it is further enacted that the first election of members of the said Board shall be held on such day as the Governor-General by Order in Council appoints, and that the Governor-General may make all such provisions as are deemed necessary for the purpose of that election:

Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, and in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, doth hereby determine that the number of representatives of each of the contributory districts within the aforesaid hospital district shall be the number set forth in the Schedule hereto, and that the first election of such representatives shall be held on Wednesday, the sixteenth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one; and doth hereby direct that the regulations made in the Order in Council dated the third day of September, one thousand nine hundred and seventeen, shall, as far as applicable, apply as if incorporated in this Order in Council.

Prohibition of Money-order and Postal Correspondence for H. Frisenette, Copenhagen.

THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in promoting or carrying out a lottery or scheme of chance, it is hereby ordered, under section 28 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by his own or by any fictitious or assumed name), or addressed to the address given in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

Transmitting and Receiving Officers for the Service of Notices by Telegraph.

IN pursuance of the powers conferred upon me by the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), and by the regulations made on the 12th May, 1914, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the 21st May, 1914, the following officers, at the addresses set against their names, are hereby appointed Transmitting and Receiving Officers for the purpose of dealing with all notices by telegraph sent under the said Act or regulations, and of signing such certificates in relation to the service of any such notices as are required or authorized to be signed or given under the said Act or the regulations aforesaid:—

Notice of Intention to take Land in Block V, Piako Survey District, for the Purpose of a Road.

NOTICE is hereby given that it is proposed, under the provisions of the Public Works Act, 1908, to execute a certain public work—to wit, the construction of a road in Block V, Piako Survey District; and for the purposes of such public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken. And notice is hereby further given that the plan of the land so required to be taken is deposited in the post-office at Waerenga, and is there open for inspection; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public work or by the taking of the said land should, if they have any well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public work or to the taking of such land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Minister of Public Works at Wellington.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land required to be taken: 3 acres 0 roods 29 perches.
Portion of Section 28, Maramarua Parish, Block V, Piako Survey District. (S.O. 21340.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 50826, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured pink.
