NOTICE.—Harold Edward Elliott, Esquire, of No. 360 Collins Street, Melbourne, Victoria, in the Commonwealth of Australia, a Barrister and Solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria, has this day been appointed by the Honourable the Chief Justice a Commissioner of the Supreme Court of New Zealand in the State of Victoria under the 47th section of the Judicature Act, 1908, for the purpose of administering and taking all such oaths, affidavits, and affirmations as in the said section mentioned. Dated at Wellington this 17th day of February, 1921.

Notice respecting Proposed Alteration of Boundaries, Manaia Town District.
Department of Internal Affairs, Wellington, 14th February, 1921.
It is hereby notified that a petition has been presented to His Excellency the Governor-General, under the Town Boards Act, 1908, praying that the areas described in the Schedule hereto may be excluded from the Manaia Town District. All persons affected are hereby called upon to lodge any written objections to or petitions against the proposed alteration which they desire to lodge, within one month from the first publication of this notice, such objections or petitions to be addressed to the Minister of Internal Affairs, Wellington.

All those areas in Manaia Town District, in the Registration District of Taranaki, the boundaries of which are more particularly described as follows, be the said areas a little more or less :-

Part Section 95.-Area, 4 acres 1 rood 5·2 perches. Bounded towards the north by Section 105, 852·2 links ; east by Kapai Street, 500·4 links ; south by railway reserve, 809·3 links ; west by railway reserve, 512·5 links, to the point of commencement.
