Public Service Act not to apply to certain Officer.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of February, 1921.
Present:
THE RIGHT HONOURABLE W. F. MASSEY, P.C., PRESIDING IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section four of the Public Service Act, 1912, it is enacted that nothing in that Act shall apply to any officer or class of officers to whom or to which, on the recommendation of and for special reasons assigned by the Commissioner, the Governor-General in Council declares that the said Act shall not apply:
And whereas the Commissioner has recommended that the said Act should not apply to the officer described in the Schedule hereto for the special reasons assigned by him:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare that nothing in the Public Service Act, 1912, shall apply to the officer described in the Schedule hereto.

Recreation Reserve in North Auckland Land District brought under Part II of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908.

BY virtue of the powers and authorities vested in me by the twenty-sixth section of the Public Reserves and Domains Act, 1908, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, do hereby order and declare that the reserve for recreation in the North Auckland Land District described in the Schedule hereto shall be and the same is hereby brought under the operation of and declared to be subject to the provisions of Part II of the said Act; and such reserve shall hereafter be known as the Silverdale Domain, and be managed, administered, and dealt with as a public domain.
SCHEDULE.
SILVERDALE DOMAIN.—NORTH AUCKLAND LAND DISTRICT.
ALL that area in the North Auckland Land District, containing by admeasurement 9 perches, more or less, being Allotment 31, Parish of Okura, and bounded as follows: Commencing at the southernmost corner of Allotment 30, Parish of Okura, bounded towards the south-east by a public road to its intersection with another public road, 89 links; thence towards the south-west by the last-mentioned public road, 89 links; thence towards the north-west and north-east by Allotment 30 aforesaid, 75 links and 87 links respectively, to the point of commencement: be all the aforesaid linkages more or less. (Auckland plan No. 2385.)

Regulations under the Immigration Restriction Amendment Act, 1920.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 21st day of February, 1921.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the Immigration Restriction Amendment Act, 1920 (hereinafter referred to as “the said Act”), and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in this behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the following regulations under the said Act.
REGULATIONS.

A PERSON shall be deemed to take the oath of allegiance to His Majesty under section 15 of the said Act if in the presence of an Officer of Customs he signs the said oath in the form or to the effect set forth in section 2 of the Promissory Oaths Act, 1908, whether printed in the English or in any other language.

A person shall be deemed to take the oath in the form set forth in section 16 of the said Act if in the presence of an Officer of Customs he signs the oath in that form or to that effect, whether printed in the English or in any other language.

Revoking the Prohibition of the Exportation of Glue and Gelatine, also of Glue Pieces, Hide Pieces, Face Pieces, Leg Pieces, Hide Trimmings, Sinews, Lugs, and Similar Goods for the Manufacture of Glue and Gelatine.

At the Government Buildings at Wellington, this 7th day of February, 1921.

HIS Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section forty-seven of the Customs Act, 1913, and section twenty-four of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, doth hereby further amend the Order in Council made on the twenty-fourth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the twenty-seventh day of November then instant, which prohibited to the extent specified therein the exportation from New Zealand of certain goods, by omitting from the Second Schedule thereto the words “Glue and gelatine” and “Glue pieces, hide pieces, face pieces, leg pieces, hide trimmings, sinews, lugs, and similar goods for the manufacture of glue and gelatine.”

HIS Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by section forty-seven of the Customs Act, 1913, and section twenty-four of the Regulation of Trade and Commerce Act, 1914, and of all other powers and authorities enabling him in that behalf, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of that Dominion, doth hereby revoke the Order in Council made on the twenty-fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette on the fourth day of March, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, which prohibited to the extent therein appearing the exportation from the said Dominion of textile piece-goods containing wool and all articles made wholly or partly from wool.
