Declaring certain Areas added to the County of Wairarapa South to be included in certain Ridings of such County.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by Order in Council dated the twenty-ninth day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the ninth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty, the boundaries of the County of Wairarapa South and Borough of Carterton were altered by the exclusion of certain areas from the Borough of Carterton and the inclusion of such areas in the County of Wairarapa South : And whereas it is desirable that the areas so added to the County of Wairarapa South should be included in the Belvedere and Dalefield Ridings of that county :

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred upon me by section twenty-two of the Counties Act, 1908, do hereby declare that the areas included as aforesaid in the County of Wairarapa South shall on and from the first day of April, one thousand nine hundred and twenty-one, be included in the Belvedere and Dalefield Ridings of the said county; and that the boundaries of such ridings shall be those set forth under the respective headings in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.

BOUNDARIES OF BELVEDERE RIDING, COUNTY OF WAIRARAPA SOUTH.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, in the County of Wairarapa South, bounded by a line commencing at the intersection of the Waingawa River and the Masterton-Carterton main road, and proceeding south-westerly along said main road to the Borough of Carterton ; thence along the north-eastern and north-western boundaries of said borough to the north-eastern boundary of Section 241, Taratahi Plain Block; thence along the north-eastern boundaries of Sections 241, 240, and 237 to the southernmost corner of Allotment 36 of Section 238; thence along the eastern and northern boundary of said Allotment 36 and the northern boundary of Allotment 35 of Section 238 to Section 308, Block VI, Tiffen Survey District; thence along the eastern and northern boundaries of said Section 308, the northern boundaries of Sections 308, 307, and 306, the eastern and northern boundaries of Sections 2 and 3, Block V, Tiffen Survey District, and the western boundary of the said Section 3 to the Kaitangata Stream; thence along a right line due west to the county boundary, and northerly and south-easterly generally along the county boundary to the point of commencement.

BOUNDARIES OF DALEFIELD RIDING, COUNTY OF WAIRARAPA SOUTH.

All that area in the Wellington Land District, in the County of Wairarapa South, bounded by a line commencing at the south-western corner of Belvedere Riding above described, and proceeding thence along the northern boundary of that riding to the Borough of Carterton; thence along the north-western, south-western, and south-eastern boundaries of that borough to its easternmost corner; thence along the southern boundary of Section 144, Taratahi Plains Block, to Somerset Road, and south-easterly along that road to the eastern boundary of Section 122; thence along that boundary to Park Road, and south-easterly along that road to the south-eastern boundary of Section 131; thence along the south-eastern boundaries of Sections 131, 134, 138, 144, and 148; thence by the roads forming the south-western and southern boundaries of Section 127, and the southern boundaries of Sections 126 and 115 to Section 289; thence along the western boundaries of Sections 289, 290, 291, and 292, and the northern and eastern boundaries of Subdivision 5 of Taumata Block to the Ruamahanga River; thence down that river to the county boundary, and north-westerly along the county boundary to the point of commencement.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 14th day of February, 1921.

Fixing the Date for the Coming into Operation of the Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Amendment Act, 1919.

A PROCLAMATION.

WHEREAS by section eleven of the Divorce and Matrimonial Causes Amendment Act, 1919, it is provided that the said Act (except sections nine and ten thereof, which came into operation forthwith on the passing of the said Act) shall come into operation on a date to be named in that behalf in a Proclamation to be issued by the Governor-General;

And whereas it is desirable that the provisions of the said Act the commencement of the operation of which has been postponed as aforesaid should come into operation forthwith:

Now, therefore, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, tinjpur-suance and exercise of the powers conferred on me by the said Act, and of all powers enabling me in that behalf, do
