such Ordinance has been passed on or after the first day of January,
nineteen hundred and twenty-one, and gives power to arrest without
warrant.”

Clause 212 of the said Order is hereby amended by adding, after
the words “On the trial,” the words “except upon a plea of guilty.” -
Subclause (2) of clause 214 of the said Order is hereby revoked.

The following clause is added to Part VI of the said Order:—
“235A. When on application made on behalf of any person convicted of a crime or offence the Administrator entertains a doubt whether such person ought to have been convicted, he may, after such inquiry as he thinks proper, by an order in writing under his hand, direct a new trial at such time and place and before such Court as he thinks proper.”
