The total births registered for the four principal urban areas amounted to 735, as against 771 in October—a decrease of 36. The deaths in November were 316—a decrease of 28 as compared with the previous month. Of the total deaths males contributed 181, females 135. Twenty-eight of the deaths were of children under five years of age, being 8·86 per cent. of the whole number. Nineteen of these were under one year of age.
