EKETAHUNA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
NOTICE OF INTENTION TO TAKE LAND.
In the matter of the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and their amendments.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Council of the Borough of Eketauna proposes, under the provisions of the above-named Acts, and all other Acts and powers enabling it on that behalf, to execute a certain public work—namely, the construction of a septic tank and sewer outfall; and for the purposes of the said public work the land described in the Schedule hereto is required to be taken.
And notice is hereby further given that a plan of the land so to be taken is deposited in the public office of the Town Clerk to the said Council in the Borough Council Offices, Exchange Buildings, Main Street, Eketauna, in the said town, and is there open for inspection (without fee) by all persons during ordinary office hours; and that all persons affected by the execution of the said public works or the taking of such land should, if they have well-grounded objections to the execution of the said public works or to the taking of the said land, set forth the same in writing, and send such writing, within forty days from the first publication of this notice, to the Eketauna Borough Council addressed to the Town Clerk at his said office.
SCHEDULE.
Area: 3 acres 2 roods, being part Section 23, Block VI, Mangaone S.D.; coloured green on plan. Situated in the Borough of Eketauna, in the Land District of Wellington.
The above Schedule is more particularly delineated on the plan as above mentioned.

MATAU RIVER BOARD.
RESOLUTION LEVYING A SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Matau River Board hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Matau River Board’s River-protection Loan of £2,000, 1920, authorized to be raised by the Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of constructing and raising protective banks on the northern side of the Matau River, the said Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of one farthing (¼d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in Class A, and three-sixteenths of a penny (3/16d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the capital value) of all rateable property in Class B within the river district; and that such special rates shall be annually recurring rates during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

MOUNT MORGAN SLUICING COMPANY (LIMITED).
IN LIQUIDATION.—NOTICE OF FINAL MEETING.
NOTICE is hereby given, in pursuance of section 230 of the Companies Act, 1908, that a general meeting of members of the above-named company will be held at Mr. T. Duggan’s Store, Matakauui, on Tuesday, the 21st day of December, 1920, at 5 o’clock p.m., for the purpose of having an account laid before them showing the manner in which the winding-up has been conducted and the property disposed of; also of determining by extraordinary resolution the manner in which the books, accounts, and documents of the company and of the Liquidators thereof shall be disposed of.

NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between the undersigned as Shopfitters has this day been dissolved by mutual consent.

DISSOLUTION OF PARTNERSHIP.
NOTICE is hereby given that the Partnership hitherto existing between CHARLES ALEXANDER QUOI and FREDERICK HOLMES, of Auckland, Bootmakers, has been dissolved by mutual consent as from the 1st day of December, 1920. The business will continue to be carried on by the said CHARLES ALEXANDER QUOI in his own name at the late firm’s premises, Pitt Street, Auckland.
