A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken for the purposes of a road; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the eighteenth day of December, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 0 roods 6 perches.

Portion of Ngapeke 5A, Block XV, Tauranga Survey District. (S.O. 20888.)

In the Auckland Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49289, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon edged pink.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 13th day of November, 1920.

Land taken for the Purposes of a Showground in the Borough of Palmerston North.

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities vested in me by the Public Works Act, 1908, and section fifty of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1919, and of every other power and authority in anywise enabling me in this behalf, I, John Rushworth, Viscount Jellicoe, Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby proclaim and declare that the land described in the Schedule hereto is hereby taken as for a public work (for the public use for the purposes of a showground) as defined in section fifty of the Reserves and other Lands Disposal and Public Bodies Empowering Act, 1919, and shall vest in His Majesty the King as from the date hereinafter mentioned; and I do also declare that this Proclamation shall take effect on and after the twenty-third day of November, one thousand nine hundred and twenty.


SCHEDULE.

APPROXIMATE area of the piece of land taken: 1 acre 3 roods 8 perches.

Being Allotments 2 and 3 of Suburban Section 295, Township of Palmerston, situated in the Borough of Palmerston North.

In the Wellington Land District; as the same is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 36024, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand; and issued under the Seal of that Dominion, at the Government House at Wellington, this 12th day of November, 1920.

At the Government House at Wellington, this 3rd day of November, 1920.

His EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.

IN pursuance and exercise of the power and authority conferred upon him by section thirty-two of the Native Land Amendment and Native Land Claims Adjustment Act, 1919, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve and consent to the deed of purchase of timber on the Western Division A Block of the Tongariro Company’s timber areas, dated the twenty-third day of October, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and made between the Tongariro Timber Company (Limited), of the one part, and the Egmont Box Company (Limited), of the other part.
