Prohibition of Money-order and Postal Correspondence.
THE Postmaster-General of the Dominion of New Zealand having reasonable ground for supposing that the person whose name and address are shown in the Schedule hereunder is engaged in an immoral business, it is hereby ordered, under section 28 of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, that no money-order in favour of the said person shall be issued, and that no postal packet addressed to the said person (either by her own or any fictitious or assumed name), or addressed to the address in the Schedule hereunder without a name, shall be either registered or forwarded by the Post Office of New Zealand.

CROWN LANDS NOTICES.

NOTICE is hereby given that the undermentioned land will be offered for sale or lease under the Discharged Soldiers Settlement Act, 1915, and the regulations thereunder; and applications will be received at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, up to 4 o’clock p.m. on Monday, the 13th day of December, 1920.
The lands may be purchased for cash or on deferred payments, or selected on lease for a term of thirty-three years, with right of renewal for further terms of thirty-three years and a right to acquire the freehold.
Applicants must appear personally before the Land Board for examination at the District Lands and Survey Office, Auckland, on Wednesday, the 15th day of December, 1920. The ballot will be held at the conclusion of the examination of applicants.

Buildings. †Half-yearly repayment on buildings.
NOTE.—The instalment on deferred payment includes payment for buildings.
Reporoa Settlement is situated about twenty-five miles from Rotorua on the Rotorua-Taupo Road. Adjoining the settlement there is a school, also a post and telephone office. The district has a daily mail-service from Rotorua during the summer months and three times weekly during the winter months. The portion of the estate which is now being offered is generally level to undulating, the soil on the higher land being of pumice formation. Most sections contain a proportion of pasture as well as of partially drained swamp land of good quality, which is capable of improvement by further drainage. Water is provided either by streams or drains running through the sections.
IMPROVEMENTS.
The following improvements are not included in the capital values of the sections, but are to be paid for separately by half-yearly instalments of interest and sinking fund:—
Section 38.—Two-roomed cottage, 27 ft. by 9 ft., iron roof, two iron chimneys, valued at £30. Repayable in five years by ten half-yearly instalments of £3 9s. 4d.
Section 44.—Storehouse, 18 ft. 6 in. by 12 ft. by 8 ft., all iron; and smithy, 24 ft. by 16 ft. by 9 ft., all iron (no floor); valued at £100. Repayable in seven years by fourteen half-yearly instalments of £8 12s. 10d.
Section 56.—Six-roomed house, iron roof, with stove and one grate, also open chimney; dairy, with iron roof and concrete floor; stable, with implements-shed, wood-shed, and two tanks; valued at £380. Repayable in ten years by twenty half-yearly instalments of £21 12s. 1d.
The improvements which are included in the capital values of the sections are as follows:—
Section 33.—20 chains internal fence, value £40.
Section 38.—Half share 54 chains boundary fence, and 46 chains road and internal fence, value £146.
Section 39.—Half share 50 chains boundary fence, and 24 chains internal fence, value £98.
Section 40.—Half share 28 chains boundary fence, and 68 chains road and internal fence, value £164.
Section 42.—Half share 142 chains boundary fence, and 33 chains internal fence, value £208.
Section 44.—Half share 32 chains boundary fence, and 124 chains road and internal fence, value £280.
Section 45.—Half share 60 chains boundary fence, and 90 chains road and internal fence, value £240.
Section 46.—Half share 62 chains boundary fence, and 42 chains internal fence, value £146.
Section 47.—Half share 126 chains boundary fence, value £126.
Section 56.—Half share 100 chains boundary fence, and 30 chains internal fence, value £160.
