the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Wellington City Council on the twenty-second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty—viz., “The Wellington City Council, being the local authority having control of the streets in the City of Wellington, hereby declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to Harriett Street in the said city”; such street being described in the Schedule hereto.

SCHEDULE.
ALL that street in the Wellington Land District, City of Wellington, known as Harriett Street, situated between Tinakori Road and Grant Road. As the said street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49616, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Waimairi County Council—viz., “That the Waimairi County Council, being a local authority having control of Lawrence Street, Belfast, hereby resolves that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, does not apply to this street”; such street being described in the Schedule hereto.

ALL that street, situated in the Canterbury Land District, Waimairi County, known as Lawrence Street, Belfast, situated between North Road and Johns Road. As the said street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49803, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Christchurch City Council on the second day of August, one thousand nine hundred and twenty—namely, “The Christchurch City Council, having control of Cornwall Street in the City of Christchurch, by resolution declares that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to the western side of the eastern end of the said street”, subject to a condition that no building or part of a building shall be erected at any time on the western side of the portion of Cornwall Street, described in the Schedule hereto, within a distance of 37½ links from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

THE western side of all that portion of Cornwall Street, situated in the Canterbury Land District, City of Christchurch, commencing at its junction with Edgeware Road,
and proceeding thence in a northerly direction to the point where Cornwall Street turns off in a westerly direction. As the said portion of street is more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 49415, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon coloured red.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Act, 1908, and the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby approve of the following resolution passed by the Auckland City Council on the fifth day of February, one thousand nine hundred and twenty—viz., “That the Auckland City Council doth hereby declare that the provisions of section one hundred and seventeen of the Public Works Act, 1908, shall not apply to that portion of Burgoyne Street, in the City of Auckland, fronting Lot 6 of Allotment 12 of Section 7, Suburbs of Auckland”; subject to the condition that no building or part of a building shall be erected at any time on the north-eastern side of the portion of Burgoyne Street, described in the Schedule hereto, within a distance of twenty-five feet from the centre-line of the said portion of street.

His Excellency the Governor-General in Council.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by the Public Works Amendment Act, 1911, and of all other powers in anywise enabling him in that behalf, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth—subject to the conditions set forth in the Schedule hereto, and to the regulations made under section two of the aforesaid Act, and dated the twenty-second day of September, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and published in the New Zealand Gazette of the twenty-fifth day of the same month, or any regulations hereafter made in amendment thereof or in substitution therefor (and hereinafter collectively referred to as “the regulations”), and which regulations shall be deemed to be incorporated herein—hereby authorize John William Manson (hereinafter referred to as “the licensee”) to erect and maintain electric lines for lighting, power, and heating purposes along the route described in the Schedule hereto.
