All that area of land in Blocks XIII and XIV, Turiwhate Survey District, in the Westland Land District, being Reserve 1617, containing by admeasurement 3,360 acres, more or less. Commencing at the intersection of the eastern boundary of Reserve 145 with the northern boundary of Block XIII, Turiwhate Survey District, and proceeding easterly along the northern boundary of that block and of Block XIV of the said survey district a distance of 19200 links; thence due south to the northern boundary of Reserve 961; thence westerly along that boundary to the eastern boundary of Reserve 145 aforesaid; and thence northerly along that boundary to the point of commencement: save and except therefrom Section 801, Block XIV, Turiwhate Survey District, which is within the above-described area. Commencing at the eastern corner of Section 3200, and proceeding along its eastern boundary to Section 2983; thence along the south-eastern and eastern boundaries of the said section, the latter produced to the left bank of the Taramakau River; thence along the said river-bank to a point in line with the north-western boundary of Section 3326; thence along the western and southern boundaries of the said section to the western boundary of Section 2973, Block VIII, Turiwhate Survey District, and along the said western boundary; thence along the southern and eastern boundaries of the said section to a road reserve, thence along the eastern side of the said road reserve to the south-western corner of Reserve 1050; thence along the southern boundary of said reserve to the western boundary of Section 2982, and along that boundary to the southern boundary of Block IV, Turiwhate Survey District; thence along the said block boundary to the south-eastern boundary of Section 3200; and thence along the said section boundary to the point of commencement. Bounded as follows: Commencing at the south-eastern corner of Section 3230, and proceeding south-easterly across a road reserve; thence along the south-eastern side of the said road reserve to the Chesterfield Road; thence along the south-western side of the said Chesterfield Road for a distance of 35 chains; thence south-easterly to a point on the southern boundary of Block XI, Waimea Survey District, 80 chains from the south-eastern corner of the said block; thence due west along the said southern boundary of Block XI for a distance of 100 chains; thence due north to the south-western boundary of Section 3230; and thence along the said section boundary in a south-easterly direction to the point of commencement.
