THE notice published in the New Zealand Gazette No. 33, of the 1st April, 1920, relating to Colonel Charles Thomas Major, D.S.O., is cancelled, and the following substituted:—

Colonel Charles Thomas Major, C.B.E., D.S.O., relinquishes the Command, Auckland Infantry Brigade, and is transferred to the Reserve of Officers. Dated 26th February, 1920.

N.Z. ARMY MEDICAL DEPARTMENT.

Captain Robert Hector Baxter, M.C., is granted the temporary rank of Major. Dated 1st September, 1920.

8TH (SOUTH CANTERBURY) MOUNTED RIFLES.

Major Eric Hamilton Orr, D.S.O., is transferred to the Reserve of Officers, under the provisions of General Headquarters Instructions No. 22, of 20th February, 1920. Dated 25th August, 1920.
