BOROUGH OF FEILDING.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies Loans Loans Act, 1913, the
Feilding Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:-
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect
of interest and sinking fund on a loan of £14,000 (fourteen
thousand pounds), authorized to be raised by the Feilding
Borough Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913,
for the following purposes---(a) to install additional plant in
connection with the electric-lighting system, and (b) to pay
for portion of plant already purchased out of overdraft
the said Council of the Borough of Feilding hereby makes
and levies a special rate of 19/32nds of a penny in the pound
upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Borough
of Feilding; and that such special rate shall be an annually
recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and shall be
payable annually on the first day of April in each and every
year during the currency of such loan, being for a period of
364 years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

CLUTHA COUNTY COUNCIL.

RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in
that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the
Clutha County Council hereby resolves as follows :---
That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in re-
spect of principal and interest and also other charges on a
loan of £1,000, authorized to be raised by the Clutha County
Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the
purpose of metalling a portion of the Clinton-Owaka Road,
from McKinnon's Creek to Stewart's Ford, the said Clutha
County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of
7/10ths (seven-tenths) of a penny in the pound upon the
rateable value of all rateable properties of the Kuriwao Gorge
Special Rating Area, comprising a portion of Clinton Riding
in the County of Clutha, the boundaries of which district are
as follows,
Commencing at a point where the north-west corner of
Section 17, Block IV, Kuriwao S. D., touches the Clinton-
Owaka Road; thence by the northern boundary-lines of
Sections 17 and 18, Block IV, to the eastern boundary-line
of the said Section 18; thence be the eastern boundary-line
of the said Section 18 to the northern boundary-line of
Section 22; thence by the northern boundary-lines of Sections
22, 23, and part of 25, Block IV, to a road-line forming the
eastern boundary of Section 25; thence by the southern side
of that road to the eastern boundary-line of the said Section
25; thence by the eastern boundary-line of Section 25 to a
trig. station (Three Stones) on block-line between Blocks IV
and IX, Kuriwao S.D.; thence in an easterly direction by
that block-line, being the northern boundary-line of Section
5, Block IX, to the Waiwera River; all in Kuriwao Survey
District; thence across the Waiwera River and by the northern
boundary-line of Run 516 to its eastern boundary; thence by
the eastern boundary-lines of Runs 516 and 518 to the south-
eastern boundary of the said Run 518; thence by the southern
boundary-line of Run 518 to its junction with Run 517;
thence by the eastern boundary-line of the said Run 517 in
a southerly direction to its southern boundary: thence by
the southern boundary-line of the said Run 517 to a block-
line between Kuriwao and Warepa Survey Districts, and the
western boundary-line of the said Run 517; thence across a
road and in a southerly direction by the eastern boundary.

boundary-lines Sections 4, 3, 2, and 1, Block X, Kuriwao S.D.,
and by the southern boundary of Section 1, Block XI, to the

by the western boundary-line of Section I, Block XI, and
Section 9, Block VIII, to the northern boundary-line of the
said Section 9; thence by the northern boundary-line of the
said Section 9, Block VIII, to the western boundary-line of
Section 10; thence by the western boundary-lines of the said
Section 10 and Sections 8 and 2, Block VIII, Kuriwao S.D.,
to the northern boundary-line of Section 2, Block VIII,
Kuriwao S.D.; thence by the northern boundary-line of
Section 2 to a road-line on the western side of Section 16,
Block. V, Kuriwao S.D.; thence across the road and by
the western and part of the northern boundary - lines of
Section 16 to the western side of Section 17, Block V,
Kuriwao S.D. thence by the western and north-western
boundary of the said Section 17, Block V, Kuriwao S.D., to
the Clinton-Owaka Road; thence across that road to the
point of commencement.

And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate
during the currency of such loan, and be payable on the 1st
day of September in each and every year during the currency
of such loan, being a period of 36) (thirty-six and a half)
years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

IN LIQUIDATION.

NOTICE is hereby given that at an extraordinary
general meeting of the above-named company held at
the offices of Messrs. W. H. Edwards and Company, Wood-
ward Street, Wellington, on the 4th day of August, 1920
(adjourned from the 28th day of July, 1920), the following
extraordinary resolutions were passed, viz. :-

1. "That it has been proved to the satisfaction of the com-
   pany that the company cannot by reason of its liabilities con-
   tinue its business, and that it is advisable to wind up the same.
2. "That R. B. POWNALL, Esq., of Wellington, Insurance
   Manager, be hereby appointed Liquidator for the purposes
   of such winding-up."
