OHAUPO TOWN BOARD.
RESOLUTION MAKING A SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Ohaupo Town Board hereby resolves as follows :- That, for the purpose of providing the necessary interest and other charges on a loan of Β£3,000, authorized to be raised by the Ohaupo Town Board, under the above-mentioned Act, for the erection and construction of a hall for public meetings and recreation purposes, and as a memorial for fallen soldiers, with public offices for the Board, including all necessary labour, materials, plans, and superintendence, the said Ohaupo Town Board hereby makes and levies a special rate of five-eighths of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property in the Town District of Ohaupo; and that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of September in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.

WAIMARINO COUNTY COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, the Waimarino County Council hereby resolves as follows :- That, for the purpose of providing the instalments in respect of principal and interest and also the other charges on a loan of Β£4,250, authorized to be raised by the Waimarino County Council, under the Local Bodies' Loans Act, 1913, for the purpose of acquiring a portion of Section 19, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District, and dedicating it as a public road, and for trimming, forming, culverting, and metalling the piece so acquired, and for felling, clearing, forming, culverting, and bridging the Otiranui Road through Sections Otiranui No. 4A No. 3 and No. 2 as far as the northern boundary of the Ohotu Block, the said Waimarino County Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of ninepence (9d.) in the pound sterling upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the Otiranui No. 2 Special Rating District, comprising all the land situated within the following boundaries,- Commencing at a point where the eastern boundary of Section 20, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District, joins the Mangahouhou Road; thence generally south by the east and south boundary of the said Section 20, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District, and the western boundaries of Sections Otiranui No. 3 and No. 2, and the northern, western, and southern boundaries of Section 3, Block XI, Makotuku Survey District, to the eastern side of the Otiranui Road; thence south by the eastern side of the Otiranui Road to the southern boundary of Section 2, Block XII, Makotuku Survey District ; thence east and north by the south and east boundaries of Section 2, Block XII, Makotuku Survey District, and the eastern boundary of .Section 1, Block XII, Makotuku Survey District, to the southern boundary of Otiranui No. 2; thence east by the south boundary of Otiranui No. 2, and north-west by the northern boundary of Otiranui No. 3, to the east boundary of Otiranui No. 4B; thence north-east and north-west by the east and north boundaries of Otiranui 4B to the eastern boundary of Section 19, Block VIII, Makotuku Survey District; thence by a right line from this point to a point on the southern side of the Mangahouhou Road, 4646 links, on the east side of the junction of the Rangataua Lakes Road and the Mangahouhou Road; thence west by the Mangahouhou Road to the starting-point.
And that such special rate shall be an annual-recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of October in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
Such special rating area is comprised of the following sections : Part Section 19, Block VIII; Section 3, Block XI; Sections 1 and 3, Block XII; Sections Otiranui 4A, 4B, No. 2, and No. 3, Block XII; all in the Makotuku Survey District.

HINAHINA SAWMILLING COMPANY (LIMITED).
NOTICE is hereby given that an extraordinary meeting of the shareholders of the Hinahina Sawmilling Company (Limited) was held at the registered office, No. 49 Vogel Street, Dunedin, on the 21st July, 1920, when the following resolution was carried:-
That the company be wound up voluntarily; and KEITH STUART RAMSAY, of Dunedin, Merchant, be and he is hereby appointed Liquidator for the purpose of such winding up.
A subsequent similar meeting was held on the 6th August, 1920, at which the resolution carried at the meeting held on the 21st July, 1920, was confirmed.
