And whereas a plan has been prepared, and the Minister
has recommended the Governor-General to declare such land
to be Crown land :

Now, therefore, in pursuance and exercise of the powers
and authorities conferred upon me by the above-in-part-
recited Acts, and of all other powers in anywise enabling me
in this behalf, I, Arthur William de Brito Savile, Earl of
Liverpool, the Governor-General of the Dominion of New
Zealand, do hereby declare the land described in the Schedule
hereto to be Crown land subject to the Land Act, 1908, and
that such land may be administered and disposed of under
that Act accordingly.

APPROXIMATE AREAS of the pieces of stopped road declared to

Situated in Karamu Parish, Block V, Alexandra Survey
District (3072, blue).

In the Auckland Land District; as the same are more
particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D. 32789,
deposited in the office of the Minister of Public Works
at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District, and thereon
coloured green.

Given under the hand of His Excellency the Right
Honourable Arthur William de Brito Savile,
Earl of Liverpool, Member of His Majesty's
Most Honourable Privy Council, Knight Grand
Cross of the Most Distinguished Order of Saint
Michael and Saint George, Knight Grand Cross

A PROCLAMATION.

IN pursuance and exercise of the powers conferred by
section eleven of the Land Act, 1908, I, Arthur William
de Brito Savile, Earl of Liverpool, the Governor-General
of the Dominion of New Zealand, do hereby, with the con-
sents of the owners and mortgagee of the land described in
the Schedule hereto, and of the Franklin County Council,
being the local authority in whose district the said land is
situated, proclaim as a road the land in Awitu Survey
District described in the Schedule hereto.

Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.

APPROXIMATE AREA of the piece of road closed: 3 acres 1 rood.
Adjoining or passing through Section 70, Omaka; coloured
burnt sienna.

All situated in Block VIII, Taylor Pass Survey District.
All in the Marlborough Land District; as the same are
more particularly delineated on the plan marked P.W.D.
47764, deposited in the office of the Minister of Public
Works at Wellington, in the Wellington Land District,
and thereon coloured as above mentioned.
