HOKIANGA BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Hokianga County Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing the interest and other charges on a loan of £10,000, authorized to be raised by the Hokianga County Council, under the above-mentioned Act, for the purpose of making a water-race for the supply of water to the Hokianga Hospital, and to the inhabitants of the special rating area described in the Schedule hereunder, the said Council hereby makes and levies special rates as follows:—
(1.) A special rate of one-third of one penny in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the County of Hokianga, to meet interest and sinking fund on £10,000, being the estimated capital cost of providing the water-supply to the Hokianga Hospital.
(2.) A special rate of twopence three-farthings in the pound upon the rateable value of all rateable property of the special rating area described in the Schedule hereunder, to meet the interest and sinking fund on the extra cost of carrying on the water to Rawene Township from source of supply.
And that such special rates shall be annually recurring rates during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the thirtieth day of December in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and a half years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
SCHEDULE.
All that area situated in Block XIV, Mangamuka Survey District, in the County of Hokianga, bounded on the north and east by the Hokianga and Waima Rivers, on the south by De Thierry Street, and on the west by the Omanaia River.

MARTON BOROUGH COUNCIL.
RESOLUTION MAKING SPECIAL RATE.
IN pursuance and in exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by clause (d) of section 16 of the Local Bodies’ Loans Act, 1913, the Municipal Corporations Act, 1908, and its amendments, and of all other powers (if any) it thereunto enabling, the Marton Borough Council hereby resolves as follows:—
That, for the purpose of providing for the payment of interest, sinking fund, and other charges on the Marton Borough Council Borough Workers’ Dwellings Loan of £1,600, 1920, authorized to be raised by the Council, under the above-mentioned Acts, for the purpose of erecting borough workers’ dwellings, the said Marton Borough Council hereby makes and levies a special rate of one-fourth of a penny (¼d.) in the pound sterling on the rateable value (on the basis of the unimproved value) of all rateable property in the Borough of Marton; and that such special rate shall be an annually recurring rate during the currency of such loan, and be payable yearly on the 1st day of June in each and every year during the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half (36½) years, or until the loan is fully paid off.
