ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of May, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the seventeenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted the nineteenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native lands specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of May, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
ON the recommendation of the Native Land Purchase Board, referred to in section three hundred and sixty-three of the Native Land Act, 1909, and in exercise of the power in this behalf conferred upon him by that section, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council thereof, doth hereby extend for a further period of six months the Order in Council dated the tenth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, and gazetted the twelfth day of June, one thousand nine hundred and nineteen, prohibiting all alienation of the Native land specified in the Schedule hereto other than alienation in favour of the Crown.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this first day of June, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section four of the Fire Brigades Act, 1908 (hereinafter termed "the said Act"), it is provided that the Governor-General may by Order in Council, on the application of any Borough Council, declare the district within the jurisdiction of such Borough Council to be a fire district under the said Act: And whereas an application has been made by the Kaitangata Borough Council in accordance with the provisions of the said Act, and it appears expedient to grant the said application:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authorities conferred upon him by the said Act, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby declare the Borough of Kaitangata to be a fire district under the said Act.

Registration of Magazines.

ORDER IN COUNCIL.
At the Government House at Wellington, this twenty-fifth day of May, 1920.
Present:
HIS EXCELLENCY THE GOVERNOR-GENERAL IN COUNCIL.
WHEREAS by section eleven of the Post and Telegraph Act, 1908, as amended by section three of the Post and Telegraph Amendment Act, 1919 (hereinafter referred to as "the said Acts"), the Governor-General in Council is empowered to make regulations for the registration of magazines:
Now, therefore, His Excellency the Governor-General of the Dominion of New Zealand, in pursuance and exercise of the powers and authority conferred upon him by the said Acts, and acting by and with the advice and consent of the Executive Council of the said Dominion, doth hereby make the regulations set forth in the Schedule hereto; and doth order that such regulations shall come into force from the date of the publication of this Order in Council in the New Zealand Gazette.
SCHEDULE.

Any person desiring to register a magazine shall forward an application for such registration to the Secretary, General Post Office, Wellington. The application must be accompanied by a copy of the magazine and by the registration fee of 5s. Such magazine will be registered in a register to be kept for the purpose, and thereupon the magazine will be entitled to pass through the post at the rates of postage fixed for registered magazines. Unregistered magazines will be charged for at printed-paper rate.

A magazine is a publication, with or without advertisements, which contains information of a public character or articles relating to literature, sciences, arts, politics, religion, sport, or some special industry. It must have a legitimate list of subscribers, except in the case of Government publications. It need not be printed or published in New Zealand, but
